Good but I don’t like having to pay JUST to learn ASL
Why do I have to pay $6-$7 just to learn pretty much everything in this app, I am becoming a ASL teacher and my Professor told me to try a different app cause you have to pay for most of the signs, but I thought I would give it a try.

Sloppy signing? But decent dictionary
I'm hearing and I use this app for dictionary/practice but I am concerned after paying for the app and viewing the videos that many of the signs are missing correct facial expressions (for example "Are you alright?" as a yes/no question should have raised eyebrows, however the video for this expression did not show any eyebrow movement or other non manual markers) however as I am not Deaf or a skilled signer I can't be sure, but some other reviews seem to agree with me. If you are just starting ASL I cannot recommend this app because it might teach you bad habits. Also many of the videos cut off at the beginning or end of the sign, so I feel it would be beneficial to re record most if not all of the sign videos.

Amazing resource
I’m an college freshman and have taken ASL 1 and 2. This app is beautifully made, with a large dictionary with more than 5,000 signs. I first bought this app on my iPad and really enjoyed using it. I also just got a new iPhone and I downloaded it to my phone. It looks so smooth on my phone! Looking forward to using it offline! Happy studies everyone!

Better than expected!
I have a beginner to intermediate understanding of ASL and I double checked some of the usual misused signs and I was not disappointed! This app is much better than other higher paid apps and I’m so grateful it’s a one time purchase option. I detest monthly paid apps that don’t offer much once you purchase them.

Great app; could improve in some places
I think the app is great! Easy to understand, use and learn with!
Some possible improvements:
1. “Test Your Knowledge” section could use clearer symbology when showing correct and incorrect answers—checks/circles and X’s (the current red and green color changes are hard to see for colorblind people, like me)
2. Instead of just example videos for some sections, pictures would be nice too. That way users don’t need to replay the video multiple times to see the sign

What I think
I think this app is pretty cool, but the only problem I have, is that for some of the more daily or important things that you would most likely use are locked, which is kinda annoying and can be dangerous in case your signing to someone who is death and if there is an emergency. But other than that,

Best Asl ap by far nice

Lessons? Errors!
Really cool that you would alert me that my daily lesson is ready. Unfortunately, I don’t see any lessons in the app, only ala-cart words and categories. Came across a spelling mistake right away. It messes with me for a minute because I had to figure out what was wrong.
