Less than satisfactory.
I’ve seen great gameplay on Assetto Corsa on PC as well as console. I’m actually very excited to have it come to mobile as I play quite a few different sim racers from Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo on console to Hashiriya Drifter and now hopefully Assetto Corsa on mobile. I see potential here, and I’d like to offer some insight. Xbox has created the Backbone as I’m sure you’re aware of. I think integrating the device with Assetto Corsa mobile will be a win for for both creator and developer. And is as the players would be more than excited to miss out on the broad control bugs/downgrades. I’d give it a shot, passing the opportunity to do so, will probably net many more future 2 star reviews.

Tried to support it…
It’s just overall bad. Graphics need a ton of work. The car models are great, especially the interior, but there really needs to be some sort of lighting or post-processing. The driving is doo-doo as well. I chose the virtual steering wheel, and it didn’t make the driving any better. It’s too sensitive, even with changing sensitivity, and the cars drive worse than Grid Mobile. Its got that wobbly boat driving, and the AI starts to wobble and hit you on the first turn. Trying to get back on the road is horrible, you’re better off restarting the race. It feels like the game is going against you. I tried to continue playing, buying another vehicle, but the driving did not improve. BTW, upgrading that first car to max really won’t do much, there’s a few AI cars that go try-hard and will do everything they can to win, great but horrible when the player can’t even control their car going who-knows-what since it’s in KPH, not MPH. I will say that the only good time I had in this game was the doing the Overtake races, but this game is just a hit pile of trash, feels like a rip-off. There are a ton of great mobile racing games, but this one is not it.
Thalinor,
Grid older yet light years ahead of this title.
How is it possible to make a downgrade of a simulator that came out years ago? First off why is it that touchscreen controls using arrows don’t have an option for acceleration, only breaking? Grid has the ability to use l/r arrows with gas, break, and shift. The menus are better than grid, and internals of the cars look slightly better for some models. By slightly I mean at most 5% better despite the fact Grid came out on Mobile many years ago. That’s it, everything else is way worse. No shadows, awful AA causing jagged edges, very limited car driving setting options, just all around a beta app. Driving feels like it’s a drifting simulator not a driving simulator, but that’s probably due to not allowing tire type change like most racing simulators. It’s worth 1.99 that I paid for it and that’s about it.
Karam Alezray,
Thank you
I’ve been waiting for a good racing simulator for a long time and once I’ve seen Assetto Corsa I immediately bought it and I’ve been playing it non-stop and already reached level 12, I truly appreciate you for bringing it to mobile, I love the graphics and especially the lighting effects and also I love how I can feel the weight difference and traction level and power between different cars, I’m looking forward for future updates, we definitely need the Nürburgring and more super cars, the car sounds are amazing but the gear changes don’t sound real in some cars and cars that have DCT in real life sound like they have a manual or a single clutch automatic in the game but other than that I’m totally in love with it. Thank you so much ❤️

Terrible game and a waste of $6
This game is on of the worst thing I have ever bought on the App Store. For one, the graphic are terrible. I get that this is a phone and it would be just like the PC games, but having options to have better graphic would be a nice feature. Even just adding shadows would drastically improve the game. But the worst part is how little you get out of the box. I paid $6, only to have one car to race. I didn’t buy this game to spend 3 hours doing challenges in a Fiat before I got to use the Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s, or just something fast. Look at Grid Autosport Mobile, in comparison. You buy the game, and immediately get access to all cars in the game. And if you want progression, there is a campaign mode. But it isn’t forced upon the player like in this game.

Unless you get rid of this awful unlock system, I can’t see myself playing this game, when the aforementioned Grid Autosport Mobile is BY FAR the better looking, running, and fun game.
Gunfire787,
Just ok for now.
If your expecting something close to the pc or in the same realm as grid but more sim like, i would wait. Im not saying this game is bad but it feels unfinished. Im hoping with updates in the future it would get better. Driving is a little odd. Lose traction at of no where. Not much settings on graphics controls. Very basic. I apperiacte the detailed interior, the gran turismo progression, the tracks are good and car selection. But the cars feel unfinished the sounds are kinda bad. The music isnt good. Not sure if its a bug but i cant play my music while playing either. I would wait for
More updates. Or if your a true ac fan than just get it and wait. But if you compare this to grid its night and day. The only thing that ac does better than grid is you can race any car in any track during normal daylight

Suggestions to make AC Mobile better
This is a great way for me to experience AC on mobile, but I have some suggestions to make the game better and come closer to the PC and console releases.

• Add support for MPH and other imperial units, for the US players out there
• Add a manual transmission option (Can be as simple as a swipe up or down to change gears, or even onscreen buttons)
• More cars and tracks to bring this version in line with the PC and console releases
• Free Practice being unlimited, so you can drive for as long as you want instead of being limited to 3 laps (Change the original Free Practice to Time Attack, and make a new Free Practice mode that is not limited by laps or time, so we can hone our skills properly by driving more laps)
• Some of the cars have quite low RPMs shown on their dashboards compared to what the AC PC and console releases show. Maybe just a bug that can be fixed with an update?
• It seems a lot harder to drive in this game than in other mobile racing games, and I do have experience with AC on PC. It's just the controls could be just a bit smoother and more forgiving on this mobile version, so I can drive with tilt controls more easily

More then meets the eye!
At first glance you may be disappointed, but give this title a serious try and it will surprise you! It isn’t without flaws though. The graphics displaying where the controls are should disappear before taking control of the car as they get in the way sometimes. In afternoon and wet weather races it is sometime hard to see the track. It could be lightened just a tad or give the cars working headlights. The driving physics is top notch and cars will literally pile up one one another and even roll! In cockpit view this is incredible to see! This is sim like very few other mobiles games bring! Great job!

Needs work
Firstly the game needs controller support. I tried using a razer kishi and Xbox controller and I’ve played on a iPhone X and iPad Pro 11 but they do not work despite the product page saying that we can use an “external controller”. Graphically it is about the same as real racing 3 and the controls/handling are both laggy and twitchy but raising the sensitivity helps a little bit. Hopefully the game will be updated to address these issues as this review is of the day 1 version. The AI can sometimes be erratic too. For example, in the first career race at Vallelunga, many of the AI spin around turn 1. On the positive side the HUD is nice (although the option for a mini map would be nice as well) and the game runs pretty well performance-wise. Also the way you have to unlock things as you go serves as motivation to keep playing

Needs better controls -please read!
I feel like this game could be a lot better if there was a good controls layout. Tilt controls and the steering wheel input just don’t work well and make it difficult to play. The button controls should be good with this game, but for some reason, the layout just does not make any sense! With buttons, you cannot manually apply gas, just the brakes. Also, the steering input buttons are on the opposite sides, which just feel weird. If the button controls were reworked to have the steering buttons on the bottom left corner and the inputs for braking and ACCELERATING to the bottom right corner, the game would be so much easier to use. Games like Rush Rally 3 and Real Drift use this layout, and it works so well. I hope this will be a future update to the game.
