Choose from thousands of shows and movies available – live TV, streaming, cloud DVR recordings* or On Demand – all together in one place. Miss a show or want to finish that hilarious episode? Restart a show that aired up to 3 days ago from the beginning without having to record it. Or with cloud DVR, you can record as many shows as you want at the same time.

Works fine, though there needs a picture-in-picture option or a way to stream on the computer like other providers. I mainly watch on my iPad while doing other things while away from home so I can’t really use this unless I want to just sit down and watch tv..

This is a lie started by RCN and continued by astound.
Why is it a lie.
If it really was “my TV, my way”, I would be able to watch/stream astound TV on my PC or Mac computer connected to a large screen monitor.
If it was really “my TV, my way” , I be able to stream with the Astound TV app to my little tiny iPhone and cast or airplay it to my large screen TV.
Why would I wanna do the 2 things mentioned above?
Simple, I don’t wanna have to rent more than one box from Astound to watch TV in more than room in my house.
The big advantage of Astound IPTV (streaming) vs old technology (cable boxes) is the the ability to do the 2 things mentioned above without renting a set top box in every room.
So, if you are like me and expected this App to do as they claim on their web site…..
Don’t waste your time downloading this app.
However if you would enjoy catching up on your tv shows at your kids soccer game on your little iPhone that you can’t see the screen cause it’s to bright outside, have at it.
I’m sure the kids will really appreciate you ignoring their soccer game while you struggle to watch TV on your iPhone.

Remote Function
I think Astound Tv app should have remote function to use with the mobile device.

Please enable Picture in Picture.. currently every other app provides this features.. I see folks have already mentioned it in their comments from year ago.. please update.

Needed this!
I’m on the go constantly, never have a chance to sit down and watch my shows ): with this app it allows me to keep up with my favorite shows and teams wherever I am! Love this!

App is a waste of tome, whole company has been disappointing.
This company cannot get their act together. Download the app to find it will not let you stream anything. It works sporadically on your phone but you are unable to stream to anything big enough to actually see. Why pay for an account that doesn’t let you watch what you pay for?

Constantly disconnects. Perhaps this is because of the Wi-Fi, but it is RCN fiber, so that may say something about the quality of the product.
