Transformational
I started working out with Lia during the pandemic. I used to do HIIT workouts 6 days a week and my body was hurting and I wasn’t losing the weight I needed to or getting toned, just bulky. When I discovered Lia’s workouts, my life changed and have not done a HIIT workout since. I have lost 30 pounds and found my abs, lean lines and muscles. My body feels great. The live-streams on the app are a great way to interact with her directly and change things up. The tutorials are really easy to understand. The app is user friendly and the 15, 30 and 60 minute formats allow you to mix and match. I have started saving my favorite workouts on my list. I really like that there are so many to choose from. Sometimes I do the 15 minute ones in the evening before dinner because the connection to the breathing feels like meditation. Many days I do 2 workouts. I love that she posts a suggested schedule every week with classes that would compliment the live-streams (which are available for a week). She is great at explaining things and these workouts are absolutely transformational and a great form of meditation for me as well. I had told my sister how much I loved them and she got me the subscription to the app on the first day! I’m so happy to have it and it is less than the cost of a month for a gym membership. This will be my workout forever. Not going back to HIIT! Thank you Lia!

Truly wonderful
I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up for Lia’s low impact program. I was under the false impression that low impact meant easy. Wow, was I wrong! I definitely felt the heat. I definitely had a sweat. I definitely loved how my body felt. Not once did my body ever feel defeated after a work out. Instead, I felt energized and refreshed. I felt like every class I took, even if it was a short session, worked my entire body in a way that I’ve never experienced before. I also appreciate the quiet of Lia’s sessions. I guess i don’t like workouts with music as much as I thought I did. I’ve come to realize that music will either distract me when I like a song or frustrate me when I’m not into what the instructor is playing. I love Lia’s content and the creative, fun way she designs her moves. She puts so much thought and effort into each and every one of her classes. She has such a sweet disposition and personality, and there’s no doubt that she’s knowledgeable and experienced. Thank you, Lia. Thank you for developing such a beautiful method which has transformed my body as well as my thinking. I only just found you, but I can only imagine what my mind and body will be like in the future if I’ve seen so much improvement in this short period of time. Thank you, Lia!!!!!!

Great for beginners and those who are truly experienced in Pilates
Wow, prior to the pandemic I was an avid Pilates goer at my local gym, classes held 3x per week at 45 mins a piece. I would come home feeling sore and like I got a great workout, little did I know my positioning was incorrect and likely not allowing me to unleash the full benefit of my workout. Lia has a very sweet relaxing demeanor and voice, both of which help to de-stress after a long day or get my morning started peacefully. She really focuses on proper form, NEUTRAL pelvis, spine alignment, etc. i find her workouts to be relatively gentle on my body (which has been through two car accidents and ongoing chiropractic treatment). I have mild scoliosis also, so finding something that not only works, but works WELL, all while being gentle on my body and spine is a Godsend. Truly thankful to have found her on Instagram and I look forward to figuring out all my body is capable of with her less is more type of approach. Try an ab series and you will know exactly what I mean, small but meaningful movement really stimulates all these tiny muscles I never knew my body had while just going to the gym and doing the same old moves/ going to Pilates and not having proper form. Best workout. Best instructor. Best App.
I found Lia during early quarantine and was immediately hooked! Been following her and her IG lives every day since and have been loving every second of it. My body craves it and I look forward to her classes every morning when I wake up. I’ve always had a slight interest in Pilates through the years, but never been able to really get into and fully understand it. Lia changed my perspective completely. Her method is so effective, and with her guidance, and clear prompts I’ve been able connect and access my muscles more than I’ve ever been able to before. Aside from the amazing classes and method she created, Lia herself is just a ray of sunshine! Her warm personality, great energy, and incredible and unwavering commitment to this community during quarantine has been such a silver lining. After 5 months of pure good hearted generosity, I am so excited for this new App and next chapter. Loving the added accessibility and flexibility that the App provides, the growing library of options, the tutorials, as well as the continued live streams. Moving everyday
I am on year 2 of exercising with B the method. It has been a wonderful tool to include some kind of exercise in my life just about every day. The app is well organized, and can be browsed easily to find the exercise that suits you - you can decide what you want to work or stretch; if you want something more active or meditative; and how long you want to spend. I find Lia’s instructions and demonstrations to be very clear, with the right amount of queuing and explanations. She makes helpful suggestions for modifications. There is also a nice sequence of videos that introduces the basics. I appreciate that there are 2 opportunities for live sessions- I rarely am able to join but even exercising with them after they have been loaded to the app brings a different energy to the mix of my exercise week. New videos (and movements) are regularly added to the app and selected older videos are kept in the mix. I always find something suited to my movement needs and mood. I have also found the B the method team to be very responsive to any questions that arise with the app. Super app. High recommend.

Simply the best
I discovered B the method during lockdown, and have stuck with it ever since! I grew up as a rhythmic gymnast and when I stopped being on the team and playing sports after high school, I struggled to find a workout regimen I stuck with. I found myself dragging my feet to the gym to begrudgingly run on the treadmill or going to workout classes that instilled in me that “pain is gain” mentality. Most instructors encouraged me to fight through the pain and focus on the loud music playing on the speakers instead.

It might seem silly, but I was worried about Lia’s classes not being held with any music on in the background. I wondered what I would focus on to fight through the pain of the workout. Lia, instead, has encouraged me to focus on how my body feels and to move it with intention. I’ve felt some muscles I didn’t even know existed before taking her class and enjoy the heat building up in my body. The class is challenging but calming, physically strengthening but meditative. Lia and the community she has built is kind and supportive and I’m lucky to have found B the method!

Life Changing both physically and emotionally! Beth Warren
I started doing B The Method 12 months ago. I will turn 60 next month and have NEVER found anything like B The Method! I had never done pilates or taken an exercise class on line or in a gym. I walk, ran ( in my 30’s/40’s), ski, play tennis and love to swim but these are seasonal outdoor activities that are fun but have never resulted in body transformation.
The transformation in my body over the past year has been incredible. I am leaner, more toned, stronger and more energetic. In addition, I have less anxiety, an inner calm I never had, and a new appreciation for the importance of self care, making time for myself and daily movement with focus on a clear and deep connection to my body, from the core.
Lia Bartha is a phenomenal teacher. She is warm, engaging, honest, welcoming and always responsive to questions via Instagram messages and emails! As horrendous and devastating as the past year has been, finding Lia Bartha and B The Method has absolutely been the silver lining for me, my daughters and many of my friends. Physically and emotionally transformational
At the start of Covid I was overwhelmed by the choices of virtual classes. I didn’t connect with the instructors who would shout into the ether ‘get your body bikini ready’ when all I wanted was to feel strong and mobile for myself and for my kids. Lia gets it. When I met Lia I was able to observe her as a mom to her children and I knew from that experience that as an instructor she would be a perfect match for me. Lia’s focus on strength, feeling grounded, centered and mobile, encompasses everything I’m looking for in a workout/therapy session (yes, they are one in the same for me) and everything I’m looking for as a role model for my daughters when it comes to body image. My belly will hang over my pants as I work through all the exercises, and I’m proud of it. Lia is thoughtful in her programs, respectful of peoples’ time, offers a variety of workouts, shares the best cueing and prompts and makes me look forward to every workout I do. Truly Life Changing
I have done so many different workouts in the past (running, CrossFit, bodybuilding, ballet/barre, yoga) and nothing has made me feel so in tune with my body like B the Method. I love how restorative, strengthening, energizing, and lengthening Lia’s workouts are. I have my favorites I do over and over again because they are so so good and just what I need on particular days and then I do one or two of her new workouts each week to keep things interesting (she adds 3 new workouts every week). I look forward to waking up at 5am every morning and getting mat out. It is such a wonderful feeling moving my body intentionally, feeling my core support the rest of my body and how everything works in tandem. My breath, posture, muscle tone, flexibility, and strength have all improved since I started these workouts a year ago. I truly feel I will continue doing these workouts as long as Lia makes them. The Best
I’ve never done Pilates in my life but my sister suggested that I purchase the B the Method app. I was skeptical as I’ve not had success with other apps, including the super popular ones like SWEAT. I’m a mother of a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old and my body has taken a real hit. Lia has the most incredible program for restoring your core, pelvic floor, and using muscles that I had completely forgotten existed. As a person that’s always hated working out and going to the gym, I really enjoy B the Method because it’s low impact and gives quick, noticeable results. In the month I’ve been using the app, I’ve dropped 10 pounds and one size in clothing. I feel better than I’ve felt in years.
