Evlo Fitness utilizes science to create fitness classes that result in fit bodies with minimal wear-and tear.

Evlo was created by fitness expert and physical therapist Dr. Shannon Ritchey. Prior to starting Evlo, Dr. Shannon owned a private PT practice and worked with hundreds of fitness-minded clients whose routines were causing joint damage and pain. She realized there was a clear need for workouts that were effective but didn't cause joint damage and pain.

With new classes almost everyday, you're never bored. You will take a variety of live and on-demand classes led by Dr. Shannon, including Burn (Pilates), Build (weight lifting), Yoga with weights, stability and mobility classes, cardio classes, and more. The live classes stay recorded on the site, so take them live or at your convenience.

The Evlo Method is truly the anti-aging exercise method, as it creates strong, fit bodies with minimal wear-and-tear.

To access all features and content you can subscribe to Evlo Fitness on a monthly or yearly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* Pricing can vary by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. In app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.

Feedback about classes
I absolutely love Shannon’s trainings, she does things calmly and her commentary during each training makes it soo interesting to continue with the workout!!! I do feel like each exercise is effective based on some muscle soreness the next day, but what’s more important is that each training she holds, you are interested to do it right and you are able to follow it along to the T with how paced she does it. I am struggling with Payton’s exercises because I find that she is very fast with each set of exercises not allowing me to get situated in between sets before she is already starting her reps. In addition sometimes she talks about an alternative exercise, if we can’t do one but she doesn’t show it what it is. I am unfortunately a new member so I do not know each exercise by name and that’s very difficult to follow when names of exercises are thrown at you without an actual example. Payton needs to slow down and not breeze through each set, because some of us do want to enjoy these exercises and do them right and we can’t do them right if they are done so fast that you can’t even follow along. I hope this feedback is taken in consideration!

So glad I found Evlo
Evlo has completely changed my mindset about fitness along with the FBHJ podcast. Shannon and Payton are the best and give helpful cues throughout the entire workout. I have learned so much and don’t feel like I have to workout for hours each day. I have tried multiple fitness programs/apps and nothing has compared. I have always been athletic and exercised, I’ve tried a variety of workout types in the past 10 years (once college athletics ended) to include heavy lifting, yoga, Pilates, barre, supersets, etc. My body reacts best to pilates/barre but I felt like I was getting weaker as the weeks passed. I’ve been doing Evlo for 3 months and have already seen results and look forward to the workouts. I love how there’s only 1 HIIT class per week, I don’t have to emotionally prepare myself for a draining workout.

If anyone is hesitant because the cost is higher than the average fitness app, Evlo is worth it. It isn’t just a fitness program, it provides education material and education throughout the workouts.

Life Changing!
I’ve been doing Evlo consistently for 18 months. I can honestly say I have never stuck with a workout program for this long. Even better, I look forward to my workouts! My form has improved dramatically with the careful instruction provided by the teachers, my muscle definition is the best it’s ever been, my posture has improved, and the post traumatic arthritis in my ankle following an old injury is gone! But I think the biggest difference Shannon and Payton have made in my life is helping me to not be so black and white in my thoughts around fitness. It’s not all or nothing, it’s what you can show up and do whether it’s 10% or 100%. That thinking has translated into so many other areas in my life and has really helped me overcome my perfectionism and become more consistent in working towards all my goals. Thank you, Evlo! I’m so happy to see you grow and congrats on the new studio!!

Trusting the Science
I am completely sold out on Evlo, the instructors and Shannon’s podcast. I have followed the program for a year doing as much free stuff as I could then decided the cost was worth it. Trusting an exercise program is huge for me. Trusting I will not get injured allows me to focus on the exercise at hand. The cues are fantastic and put me in the correct alignment to get the most from the work. All programs are evidence-based and backed by research. The exercises get me to failure ever time and I love it! I had been lifting in the gym and could get to reps in reserve but was always cautious in getting to failure or right up to the edge because I had no guidance and no one watching my form. This has been the best workout decision I have made; combined with the all the “nerdy” podcasts, I feel confident in what I am doing because I know the WHY behind it. Burns so good!
I’ve been doing Evlo consistently for about 4 months and have really noticed a difference in my body I feel stronger and I don’t feel as exhausted or fatigued. I was doing a lot of classes previously with some weight training mixed in. With the stresses of life and adding in 60-90 minute super intense workouts, my nervous system was shot and I was dealing with a variety of health issues. While learning how to calm my nervous system to improve the abundance of issues related to PCOS, I saw a friend recommended Evlo on social media. It took some time for me to fully get into it because I love the energy of in person classes, but once I became more consistent I started to crave doing these workouts and leave the others for a rare occasion and have noticed a big difference in how I feel. Love Shannon and Peyton and how much knowledge and effort they put into this! So worth it

Had no idea working out could feel so good
I’ve been using EVLO for a few weeks now and have been loving it! I came from doing intense cardio based (HIIT) classes 6 days a week for an hour plus feeling like I had to restrict and sprinkle in even more cardio throughout the day to feel my best. Getting used to this slow and steady body recomposition plan has been an adjustment, but my body has never felt better! Both Shannon and Peyton are so knowledgeable and positive- it’s the best start to my day. I don’t find myself reaching for my pre-workout and giving myself a pep talk every morning before working out anymore. I wake up and slowly ease into the EVLO workouts and finish it feeling refreshed and content with my movement. Highly recommend to anyone who feels like they’re over stressing their body working out just to maintain 🙌🏼

A Sustainable & Science Based Program
It can be a brutal and discouraging endeavor to navigate the fitness industry as a female and mother, who’s body continues to evolve and change over the lifespan. However, I have found Evlo to be a soothing, encouraging, and also sustainable fitness method that has not only debunked harmful fitness believes I once had but is also a program I have truly enjoyed committing to the past 2 years. Evlo is holistic in it’s approach acknowledging that workouts are not the end of what health entails. Therefore, including mindfulness and nutrition is an important addition to their program to scaffold success towards physical goals with the aim of supporting your overall mind body health. I feel safe knowing the instructors have their DPT and teach proper techniques to protect my body from damage. I would recommend this program to anyone!

More consistent than ever with exercise thanks to Evlo!
I used to be a group exercise junkie and never saw results and had so many aches and pains! I’m a health and physiology nerd and the education you get in these workouts is so valuable. They put so much into programming the workouts so you hit all muscle groups yet I always feel so empowered on how to modify my workouts (press pause and add more reps until I’m cooked, modify with a more activating move all together, or take a mini class or REST). I’ve been able to continue my workouts throughout pregnancy thanks to the cues/modifications they give in the regular programming plus having access to all the prenatal and pregnancy friendly workouts in one place. Can’t say enough about this program! Huge thanks to S+P for the heart, mind, and soul they put into Evlo.

Best workout routine
Since the pandemic started I have been workout out like crazy. Lifting weights and either doing cardio or HIIT everyday. I was constantly sore and was starting to have issues sleeping. Just wasn’t feeling good and didn’t make the connection that it was because of how I was working out. Stumbled upon EVLO on Instagram. Thought I’d give it a try. Used the free trial. Absolutely loved it! I really appreciate how Shannon and all the instructors take time to explain how muscles work, where they attach and why a particular exercise works better than others. I’ve been an EVLO member since Aug 2021. And I won’t use any other style workout. I feel great. I’m not sore anymore and I’m sleeping great. I’m so happy that I found EVLO…..I can’t say enough great things about it. I would highly recommend trying EVLO out!

Just what I needed
The messaging of this program is unlike anything I’ve come across — it is intentional, well-researched, and a revelation! The workouts are fantastic, but more so the nutrition modules, meditation, and mobility workshops highlight the importance of recovery and the 23 hours we aren’t at the gym. I am a recovering perfectionist and former CrossFitter and Evlo has given me a holistic way to feel my best — physically and mentally! Plus there are so many ways to test it out to see if it’s right for you, further communicating the main message of the platform, comprehensive wellness and is not centered on capitalism or constantly selling you something new. There are also travel workouts that require minimal equipment and the schedule builder will reinforce you did enough today! Highly highly recommend to a friend!!
