Amazing!
This app is fantastic. The number of exercises is incredible. The feature that allows you to create your own workout is perfect. I am able to customize it and create workouts for different days. The lady that does the exercises performs each exercise clearly and very well. She is also dressed modestly. I know that won’t be important to some but it’s important to me. You can also customize the amount of time between exercises and the number of repetitions. It has been worth every penny and I use it daily. This is seriously a sleeper app. If more people knew about it, it would have a tremendous amount of five star ratings.

Great content, needs technical enhancement
I love the exercises on this app. Has been and will be very helpful for my back. The one thing I would like to see is better enhancement of the app itself. I have a couple of different exercise apps that I use regularly, and want to make this one of them. But I find it really helpful to have soft, gentle, verbal instructions with the exercises. Not constant chatter, but instructions and reminders of how to do the exercise and what is important to focus on. I spend a lot of time checking my phone and seeing what I’m supposed to be doing, and I’d rather concentrate on the activity. Also, some ambient music behind the voice would be good.
The other thing is that the app won’t make any noise unless you take your phone off silent. I have my phone on silent all the time and would prefer to have the app respond if I open it without having to change my phone settings. Also, could it be tied in to Apple health for the iOS version?
With a few enhancements, it would definitely become one of my favorites!

Almost perfect
I love the ease of use, the ability to individualize the exercise program, the clear instructions and visuals. I love that it starts on a level that is easy to achieve, and it allows you to skip exercises that your doctor has told you that you should not do (prone head lifts and leg lifts, for example). I did not see a way to add speed or repetitions as you advance with the exercises, and it would be nice if the count-down tone could be modified and individualized. Ideally, the visuals of the person doing the exercise would be in sync with the count. Overall, a great, free app! Highly recommend for those who need to do some basic exercises that you might do in physical therapy. Done daily, these really keep your whole back more flexible with less pain and builds core muscles slowly and pain free.

Outstanding regiments!
These simple, well-thought out regiments have allowed me a complete turnaround in terms of back pain! I was hit by a car 2 years ago and have suffered back pain ever since. Normally I stick to basic fitness but with a baby at home, I was looking for a solution. I’ve been doing these exercises 2-3 times a day for just 2 weeks now and feel sooo much better!! I’m soo grateful, would happily pay more than $2.99 if only the AppStore would let me!! (Long story involving changing Apple ID countries 🙄). Thanks sincerely to the app creators who have made this available for free—you’re my heroes!

Longtime back pain sufferer
I’ve had back issues for a long time, and have greatly appreciated this app.

Question: I’ve been using the workout “with persistent pain” for about 7 months and would love to progress to a more challenging workout. Is there a logical progression of which order to go through them? It’s hard to tell which order, based on the descriptions.

Great app! Why not more popular?
This is a great app with a good selection of exercises to manage pain and stay mobile. Why is it not more popular? Also I see some suggestions made a year ago have not yet been implemented. Suggest to implement them to get more people to use it. A review by professionals would also be a good idea to provide more guidance and give more credibility to the workouts.

This DOES help!
I’ve shelled out a pretty penny to the physiotherapists with hopes that the pain would go away and it did… but I was bad at follow ups and so had to go back to the doc and it kinda got pretty expensive and time consuming. Browsed a few and came across this Appa and just wanted to try it out. Boy! Am I glad, follow the steps to the dot and it really helps you! Try it out! You will not regret it!

Really helped my persistent pain
The Persistent Pain set of exercises have really helped me over the past year. I find that when my back gets sore, I do the exercises and in a couple of days my back is much better. I should probably do these every day. Thank you

I am a fit 30 something but have had back pain since I was 17. Hurdling for track, bucking horses, and a twin pregnancy have only added to it.
