Ceandra,
Impressed!!!
This is my first time using this app and I’m already impressed. I have a hernia, diastasis recti, and weak wrist from 3 pregnancies and now a damaged knee from trying to lose the weight from my last pregnancy. Needless to say, creating a workout plan that’s affective and caters to all of my limitations is frustrating. Group classes are difficult because they’re filled with movements I must avoid. Personal trainers lack reparative knowledge (which is how my knee became damaged), and physical therapy is too expensive once the visits exceed the allowed limit by the insurance company.

With all those things considered, today I began a search for an app that will help me create a reparative plan to regain control of my body and its limitations. This app was the first on the list and out of the five I downloaded...it proved to be the best!!! I’ve already shared it with a friend and will continue to share with others 😍!
Yeolgigu,
I feel... nothing. And I love it!!
This app requires so equipment like a foam roller, however most people doing FT have this. Luckily, I did too. I downloaded this app because my shoulders and neck are so tight and always paining me. My shoulders felt so tight that I lost a lot of mobility. After one 12-minute session for the shoulders, I feel like I’ve reclaimed my body. My shoulders have *no pain*. And I can move them! This app is catered for those in PT (I assume) but the stretches are short, precise, and effective. I’d recommend if your body is holding any kind of pain or if you’re losing mobility because of it, based on my own experience. I’m still in awe. So grateful to this app. Thank you.

Physera Lost
Physera was previously a wonderful app with comprehensive and detailed information and demonstration for therapy. It benefited from an extra layer of support for rehab and training that connected you with qualified Physical Therapists. There were some minor usability problems but it was really overall a genuinely beneficial resource for anyone with therapeutic or athletic needs. Unfortunately, it nows requires registration and is unusable without it. To the developers and to Omada… please revert this decision and allow the app to be used freely without an account by anyone, as it was. By requiring this, your decision has taken this app from an excellent resource I could have recommended to anyone to something that I will sadly delete and never recommend. It is a significant loss to many people suffering that you have helped and sad especially for the professionals working with you who do not deserve this disconnection.

Great guide through exercises to remove pain
Added it to my gym routine strengthening core overall and I feel like it’s helped with my sciatic pain.

Marks deducted for UX issues (don’t let that stop you from trying the app though):
Counter is inconsistent about which part of the second it plays the audio (seems like counts falling on even play at the end of the second whereas odd times play at the beginning)
Audio is cut off/fast for certain counts (eg 2 is said faster than other numbers). Probably related to counter issue.
Text to speech prompts are jarring. There’s been an API to do TTS through Siri for forever. Why not use that?
Doesn’t remember how many reps for an exercise. Constantly have to go double it at the start of each workout.
Switch side pauses missing for some exercises (eg side planks)
Switch side pause isn’t long enough to actually switch sides (need about an extra 2 seconds for side planks)
No way to have multiple exercises favorited (either for variety or focus on different body areas).
No graph of the reported pain over time (either globally or per exercise)
No graph of the reported labels (easy/sore etc) over time for an exercise

Nearly perfect
This is an amazing app. I have been looking for something like this for years. This is a great stand alone or in addition to PT. I have a few request/issues. It would be nice to be able to edit the standard routines instead of having to build my own from scratch: it also seems to take a very long time to download so sets though I don’t know if anything can be done about this. My buggiest issue is only being able to add exercises one at a time to custom sets. So if I search for foam roller exercises I have to do this for each exercise, this gets frustrating and repetitive. There also seems to be a glitch where if you delete a set while viewing it you get a white screen.

Imperfect but Very Useful!
I love the concept of this app! I love the set-up, the exercise options, love that it’s free, and that I can play my own music in another app while I do the work-outs. The animated model it features could be more fine-tuned, as its often unrealistic, misleading, and erratic. I also wish it featured a gentler wrist exercise routine without the push-ups, and a full-body cardio routine. However, if you don’t pay too much attention to it the animated model and use their exercise ideas to make your own ideal routines, using the app is overall a very positive experience!
satyanicole,
It keeps me on track!
There are many awesome qualities for Physera's app! The user interface is modern. The exercises have simple and effective illustrations and written explanations. I appreciate how it lets me choose how often I want to do the exercises and then sends reminders t keep me on track. My favorite aspect is the computerized voice which talks you through each exercise. It lets me zone out and follow the directions without having to concentrate to much. The is motivating while not being overly enthusiastic. After 5 days of exercises I'm feeling stronger and less achey in my neck.
mggsll,
Really liking them is app!
I’ve never done physical therapy before, but this app makes it easy and manageable. I enjoyed speaking with my provider who seemed very knowledgeable. It’s also super nice that everything is personalized to me. The only thing that could be better is the robot sounding voice that instructs the exercises as well as the little cartoon figures that demonstrate them. The cartoons are a bit low quality and jerky. But they still get the gist across. Overall a great app that I will continue to use to manage my pain!

Great app needs tweaks
This app is great and seems like one of the better options for PT, especially if you wanna make your own custom routine.

However some minor issues hold it back, particularly when dealing with custom workouts.

1. If you switch out of the app briefly, sometimes your workout will be marked as complete.

2. Once a workout is marked as complete, you can't use it again that day. I have a routine I'm supposed to do twice a day. Too bad for me! You can't easily duplicate routines either.

3. Once a workout is marked as complete, it appears you can't edit it. So if on Monday, I realize I want to tweak a routine I was just doing (by maybe increasing the time to switch sides in some workout or something), I can do that ... on Tuesday. Silly!

on the plus side, the workout library is huge and you can customize stuff (subject to limitations above) and rotateable 3D people are nicer than videos for seeing how to do a workout.

Needs a computer app
So far I'm pretty impressed with the concept and the product in general, but it seems like a major oversight that a video call physical therapy appointment is supposed to happen through a mobile app and a video call that happens on a cell phone. The screen is too small to really see what your therapist is doing and it's difficult to find a good way to set your phone standing up so that you can do exercises while working with them. It would be a much better experience to do a video call through a stationary laptop or desktop.
