Backgammon Galaxy Hack 1.0.4 + Redeem Codes

Update: Tired of playing low ranked players - has to be a better way to pair matches. Inevitably I play worse against unskilled players. Complete waste of my time - need to be able to play against comparable opponents or there is no joy in winning and my play just gets sloppy as it doesn’t matter!

Been a long time player on Galaxy and completely disappointed in the new version. I understand what they are trying to do to make it profitable and sustainable which we all want but this app is half baked. Really was not ready for release. Needs much improvement. The PDF instructions release would have been nice before release. Would prefer to just pay annual fee than deal with coins. The emoji chat is aweful. I understand there are idiots who will make stupid comments but far outweighed by the meaningful banter and advice I’ve experienced in the old version. Most of the games I have played have been pretty close in level but I fear I will end up in a game with a beginner. Won’t drop game as I don’t know where else to go but needs major improvement.

Haven't even played on the mobile app yet and I have issues
1. You have to create a whole new account
2. You have to sign in with google or apple and can't log on to your web account
3. Because of two it seems you can only play with mobile people (I can't play someone who is on the computer and vice versa)
4. Can't change avatar
5. Have to supply a birthday and you have to arrow back from todays date month by month to get there (which took me almost 15 mins cause if you miss tap out of the area it closes and have to start over.

I was hoping for an app from these guys that I could log onto my already existing online account and play anytime anywhere with people I play with already. It's just dumb that we have to wait for this site to be populated now couldn't even play a game right now cause there's no one on here yet.

I like that I can play a friend directly but like I said I was hoping for the site just in a mobile version.

When I decided to start using this app I also decided to try and forget the desktop version of this existed so I could try and be fair to the app.

Pros: In my opinion the app is beautiful and is smooth during game play. I have had no problems moving checkers or using the cube in game. The analysis features are smooth too, as I look over my games at the end to see where I might have made errors.

Cons: I think the coin system will work though at the moment I consider it to be very expensive. I would like there to be an ability to win coins from matches like you can win them in the unlimited play. Playing a match against a Random noob who has no idea how to play and being charged 100 coins for the displeasure isn’t fun. I’ve had 4-5 matches when it starts my opponent isn’t there they time out and I don’t get to play and I lose my coins too. If I win a match I should win coins or at least keep my coins right?

The matchmaking is bad at the moment because the app is new and there aren’t very many people using it. I hope this improves as people discover the app. I played a 1,100 player the other day which was insufferable and had to pay coins for the displeasure.

The app works okay, but I’m tired of not matching with an opponent. Galaxy must attract more users to the app by improving some glitches and making it more user friendly, and then hopefully I won’t have to wait 30-40 seconds or longer to have a match set.

To the Galaxy developers: don’t give up! And that goes for the website too! You must always continue making improvements and making it more user friendly. I think you’re currently the most popular BG app/website. use your momentum to make a better product. Lots of us are rooting for you.

NOT A GOOD APP! Stick to playing on the website instead. Can’t use your current login you have to create an entirely new account and have to have a gmail or iTunes account. Can’t just create an account with an email why? Can’t log out once logged in lol.

Takes forever to find a match. Once you do find a match it goes to a white screen for a couple seconds?

PR means nothing now? This is what I like about the website version why change this? So now your rating is just based on luck.

Still can’t see checker movements.
Still can’t change board and checker colors.

What is the point of coins? No one cares about earning some fake coins they are meaningless.

Just add some different board and checker colors to the website version and I will be happy because there is no way I will be playing on the app!

I just can’t believe how badly they screwed this up I was really excited for this to launch. It’s like they don’t even know who their target market is.

Now the website version will never get updates because they will be focusing on updates to an app that no one will be playing on.

I love playing on Galaxy and everything they do for backgammon but cmon Marc this app is trash!

Finally an app that doesn’t have all the b.s. found in most of the competitors. Fair dice, no extra doubles injected to soup up the play. Also, it gives you the ability to review your analysis. And instead of feeding you annoying ads, just one main static ad banner. Plus it isn’t trying to constantly feed you in app purchases. You can buy coins to play if you want or just collect them each day for free. Or you can win them by playing.

I think the overall gameplay and analysis aspects are good and fantastic, respectively. The searching mechanism is TERRIBLE! It searches and searches and does not pair you. In the background, it’s matched you and gives you a loss for not “playing”. I was searching forever, canceled and researched 3 times. I took a loss for 3 games in a row averaging a GR of 2,400/game because I didn’t get a chance to play.

How has this game been out for as long as it has and this isn’t fixed? This is a rudimentary fix. Fix it, Marc, please.

Freezes constantly, I can’t judge the gameplay because it literally won’t match me with anyone no matter how many options I give it for different gameplay. Sat and clicked try again over and over for 20 minutes, still nothing. Love backgammon Galaxy on the desktop website even though it has quirks, and I feel bad giving a one star on this without actually trying the gameplay, but not even being able to play a match at all seems to warrant it. Disappointing, but I hope y’all can fix it.

The app gets all the hero rolls. If you actually buy coins, they figure out a way to strip them from you.
There is no equity in the pairings or matches. You’ll get matches for 200 coins or 20,000 and there’s no way you can set your limits.
You can say that it’s random, but the odds are stacked against you if you show you’ll buy coins. I recently played for three hours straight with ZERO wins. Every time I was close to a win, my opponent rolls 6/6, 6/6, 5/5….
I may be an average player, but there is no way it should play like this!

For those who know, the website is the real destination for serious players. Super happy the app is now available. Love the design and speed of the game. Also great to be playing with real humans vs bots as it is the case with other apps. Well done team!
