VGA output on iPads is now supported! When connecting your iPad to an external monitor or projector, Basketball WhiteBoard will display the court in landscape mode on the external display (and mirror all movements and lines). External display must be 1024x768 capable. iPad users will also notice that trailing lines and drawn lines are all now synchronized between portrait mode, landscape mode and the external display. Finally, the bug that caused custom designations on players to NOT be synchronized between orientations has been fixed. Additionally, when saving a file in landscape orientation, custom designations are properly saved.
1.5
2010-08-11
Basketball WhiteBoard version 1.5 is now a Universal Application that runs on the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad! It was built with the iOS 4.0.1 SDK and now supports multitasking on iOS 4 devices.
All versions now support the ability to select numerous colors for each team and to place arbitrary text inside each player's circle. This works well for two letter abbreviations on the iPad, and supports two digit numbers on all devices.
The iPad version supports a full field view with a control sidebar that eliminates the need to flip between screens to change settings. Additionally, portrait and landscape modes are supported. On the iPad version, the player circles are larger which allows for better control and the ability to store as many as three characters per player circle.
1.3
2009-09-12
Version 1.3 adds the ability to set the letters on the players to any letter, symbol or numeral that you choose. Also, when switching between full and half court modes, players are actually moved so that their relative positions on the court are preserved.
1.2
2009-07-20
Version 1.2 adds the ability to draw lines with your finger on top of the playing surface when you put the application in "drawing mode". Drawing mode is entered by performing a large vertical swipe (without dragging a player dot). This is equivalent to putting a "transparency" over the playing field upon which you can draw. When you are done drawing, double-tap to remove the transparency. If you want to erase the transparency, give the device a good shake! Additionally, you can now specify 0-5 players on each side. Finally, international versions of full and half court modes have been added!
