Whatdya want for nothing? Not a bad app.
Pretty good to learn bass chords. Lots of additional content to purchase as needed.
One pretty bit GLARING flaw for me. No southpaw mode. I'm seeing everything in reverse. Since it's a dynamic visual it's not too bad, but lefty bass players deserve equal representation. I'm sure the other 7 of us are also disappointed.

Close to perfection!
This really is a great app, I've used it as a teaching tool and reference more time than I can count. The only thing it needs is an option for 5 and 6 string and it'd be perfect.

Great for scales, chords? Would be great if it had arpeggios which are much more useful.

Bass companion
The free version breaks down quite often, though the idea of the app. Is a very good one, in helping old bass players get back some knowledge. Still needs to have more bugs removed.

No 5-string tunings
The app is pretty good but everything beyond a 4-string EADG tuning is an in-app purchase. Also, in all the other tunings you can buy, NONE of them is for a 5-string. I'd even be happy if one basic BEADG 5-string tuning was available.

Crap
Like the other apps I either payed good money for or tried for free they worked for a day and now refuse to open, nice gag, I'm going back to good ole paper as I do not have hours on end to waste trying to get it to work.

Very decent tool
I am very pleased with this app. Great for tuning, though it would be amazing of in the future they added a way for tuning drop tune. Amazing for beginners. Scales and chord with the visual aids is very very awesome. Great job!

Total Garbage
Installed on iPad 2, opened the app but could not hear a sound. Quit the app (hold 'til wiggle, then tapped red 'x') then restarted but no change, still no sound. I played a song from my iTunes library to be sure it was not my iPad and could hear my music through both headphones as well as the iPad's speaker just fine. I re-opened this app and still could not hear any bass notes when tapping on the turner nor when strings were strummed.
Total garbage ... 0 stars ... good thing it was free. Maybe I'll try it again down-the-road. For now I just un-installed this app.
