Patients age 2 and older can be examined by a board-certified doctor for common conditions such as:

· Cough
· Sore throat
· Allergies
· Sinus infection
· Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

If the doctor determines that you need to be seen in-person, you can print your patient summary and present it at any BayCare Urgent Care Center to receive a $59 discount off your visit.

If you use Apple Health, you can choose to share your health information such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information and respiratory rate, with the provider during your virtual video visit.

Saved my life
I was feeling increasingly ill on Christmas Day 2020 & used this app for a consult with Dr. Andrea Franks. I believe I had about a 15-minute wait to speak with her. I liked that she was an internal medicine doctor but there were many other doctors listed. I felt so awful I could barely think straight but the app was still easy. Best money I ever spent. Dr. Franks was great, listened carefully, asked questions and then said, “I think you know what I’m going to say, you need to head for the hospital.” She talked to me about where I should go & how I should sit as far away from my husband as possible on the drive over.
I was admitted to St. Joe’s North in Lutz an hour later with you guessed it, COVID-19. My case was caught in time because I listened to her and sought treatment. Four days later I was released & am healing slowly. You cannot be too careful with this virus. I believed I was doing an excellent job in distancing, hygiene, masking & avoided crowds, groups and parties. If you think you are ill, please use this app & get yourself the care you need. I cannot state strongly enough that the ease of getting immediate medical advice helped save my life.

Best App Ever!
Everyone should download this app. When you're sick and you don't feel up to driving to a doctor's office or urgent care, you can literally see a doctor while lying in your bed. I just tried it for the first time and I loved it. The doctor was very nice and communicative. You can sync it with your Apple Health app so the doctor can see your vitals. You can type in your own temp/weight/blood pressure/symptoms/allergies and it's no different that going to an in-person visit! Any prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy of choice. And one of the best parts, in my opinion, is not spreading your germs around by going out while you're sick.

Worst mistake! Don’t use this service! I spent $45 to talk to talk to a physician about a developing sinus I He literally spent 3 min with me, rattle off some over the counter meds that I didn’t even get a chance to right down. I asked about antibiotics, although it’s been few years I’ve had a sinus infection before, and he said it was necessary. He ended the session before I could get him to repeat the OTC he recommended and had the nerve to say “patient was upset”. It’s a Saturday and my doctors office is closed and couldn’t get an appointment on Friday and I’m sick! $45 for less than 5 minutes is a pretty good scam you running. So unless a real doctor wants to contact me ASAP and prescribe what I need I will continue the negative comments by word of mouth and through social media that this service is a rip off and is taking advantage of people that are sick! I would give a 0 but that’s not an option.

Overall Good App
The app itself flows well, with simple instructions from page to page. It allows quick access to the information you need to input and gets you to where you need/want to be with ease.
As far as the convenience goes, if I would have gone to an ER or urgent care clinic for my non-urgent, non-contagious issue, I would be at great risk of picking up something from another person or persons in hose facilities, making me worse off than I am now. Not to mention, the very danger of just being out on the roads today. This is the best update to healthcare that has come in a long while.

Great app
First time using this app with my doctor. Is was user friendly and the convenience of using a mobile device was awesome. I didn’t have to spend my day driving to and from the office. The app interface is very streamlined. You can sign up for text alerts to remind you of your appt.

Other people on here are giving negative reviews because they had a bad experience with the provider. It can be like that whether you use technology or see someone in office. But, as far as the app goes, I was very happy with app. It worked perfectly. Very nice using this technology.

What a great way to see a doctor!
I’m already a BayCare patient, but had no idea about this app until today! It’s fantastic! I simply filled out minimal information, described what my issue was, and I was matched up with a doctor within 5 minutes! The doctor was very friendly and personable, yet also professional. He was even knowledgeable about a certain medication I currently take, which many doctors don’t even know about yet! And, not having to go out in the Tampa/St. Petersburg traffic? Two thumbs up for sure!!! Thanks, BayCare Anywhere!

Fast and Helpful
I have been unwell and have been trying to reach my primary care physician all day. I finally received a call back at the end of the day to advise me that the doctor would like to schedule a telehealth appointment for the next day. I instead downloaded the app for Baycare Anywhere and was quickly on an online appointment with a Doctor. She heard my symptoms and was able to order scripts to my pharmacy. I should have done this sooner.

Great Care Fast
I was able to upload pictures if my area of concern for the provider to look at prior to and during the appointment. The care provided was quick and at the same time thorough for my needs. The provider made sure to ask if there was anything else he could help with or if I had additional questions. What a great way to receive excellent care.

Wait!
This is my first virtual physician experience. Some advice- just wait in line. I agreed a couple of times to get a provider that could “see me sooner”. Each time you have to complete the symptoms, current location, current medications.... and you are just put back in queue with a provider having the same number of patients waiting.

For the IT guys- put a radio button in for current location is same as home address! Ugh! Or better yet, don’t make us retype everything to get in line for a different provider!

The physician was great! And it was easy to use.

Convenient and very easy to use
I have been battle a cough and nasal congestion for almost 2 weeks and heard about this app from my sons social worker at St Joseph’s children’s hospital so I decided to use it since I have a son who has a compromised immune system and I don’t have insurance and would rather not bring him into any place. Dr Andrea Frank was so kind and it was like being in the same room. She even got to say hi to my kids. Thank you! Now I don’t have to suffer anymore
