Description
BevWatch® goes beyond typical hydration tracking apps by turning your Apple Watch® into an automatic sip detecting wearable that tracks your fluid intake so you don’t have to. BevWatch automatically detects when you are drinking, calculates how much you are drinking, and gently reminds you when it is time to drink more fluids to avoid dehydration. Its proprietary technology captures the power of various sensors already in your Apple Watch to help you look and feel your best by staying hydrated.
BevWatch Key Features
• Detects sips automatically with an Apple Watch®
• Tracks how much fluid you drink throughout the day
• Reminds you to drink water to avoid dehydration based on your current intake
• Provides recommendations for daily hydration goals or allows user to set their own goals based on personal hydration needs
• Updates your daily hydration goal based on the weather and your activity level
• Displays hydration progress as a complication on your watch face, in watch app, and on your iPhone®
• Acts like a step counter (pedometer) for your sips
To get the most out of BevWatch, follow the four recommendations below:
1. Users must wear the Apple Watch® on the hand they drink from, OR drink from the hand they wear their watch on
2. Set “handedness” on the watch or iPhone® app to reflect the hand you are wearing the watch on, or set it to ambidextrous mode (note: setting the watch to a specific hand provides the most accurate results)
3. Sit or stand while drinking – drinking during activities like running and driving can cause inaccurate results
4. Add a BevWatch complication to your watch face for quicker updates throughout the day and improved performance (updates sips about every 30 minutes – or you can force an update in the watch app)
Premium Upgrade
Upgrading to the premium version of BevWatch will provide you with the following additional features:
• Access historical data and hydration insights
• Integrate with the Health App, sending hydration data to be stored with your other activity and health information
• Personalize the sip detection for more accurate volume (fl oz) calculations, letting you adjust the app to your specific style of drinking
