I think you guys did awesome with the graphics and music, honestly. The characters had interesting and entertaining personalities. The characters were easily distinguishable, by name and personality, and design; the storyline could be easily followed, and made sense, and there was enough plot that I don’t think there were any plot holes and it fulfilled all it needed to fulfill to satisfy its audience, for the most part.
The story line wasn’t bad either. I noticed you dedicated this to someone, may they RIP.
Not a lot was said about them, you know, we might have wanted to know more about him, if it’s not too personal. It could have really enhanced the story. Just like one page full of text about him. Just a thought. Or even a link, you know?
My only 3 issues were:
The buttons seemed slow when continuing forwards sometimes, such as when pinning up photos or clicking “OK”, or entering and exiting places. For a patient person, it really tested my patience as I had no indicators that anything was happening. Gradual is fine, but a bit quicker (.5 seconds) would be awesome.
The second issue is, I feel the story stayed too strictly to info that Sergio wanted to say. I wanted to know a bit more about the Etruscan things, and I know the exhibits showed off these things visually, I wanted to be able to read some of these things.
The third thing was, the open and closed books we were supposed to pin up were hard to distinguish from each other. It was cool to have our narrator tell us what we needed to know about each book, but I felt more could be done. More could be known.
Some people may miss the fact that the box at the excavation site wasn’t moved because, as explained in the dialogue, it was an excavation site or something like it (archaeological/historical site?) and didn’t have visitors yet and was blocked off. In my opinion.
Maybe the grammar could be changed a little imo, for that reason only.
All in all, it was cool to search for things and piece things together and see how the mystery came together. It was interesting to see their past and present selves too.
Last question, I don’t think a lot was said about what happened to that necklace they found when they were kids, or if their parents were proud. Just wondering.
I can tell a lot of time and effort was put in, due to the credits and how the app did not have an overwhelming amount of buttons and kept all things uncluttered. Much appreciated for the work you put in.
