We added goals to the game after a player expressed she wanted to get coins for having all four Aces in one hand. We chuckled a bit then we listened, and voila Goals were born! (See, we listen to all player feedback and complaints.)
Goals allow players to get rewarded for their hands and the execution of those hands. Each goal is worth a specific amount of coins and must be collected from the Goals section. The goals can even be earned again by watching ads. When all goals are earned, the jackpot button will be activated for a special reward bonus.

This app has potential
What I love about this app is that it provides a platform to play Spades how I play in person. The music is cool and the majority of players that I find in Multiplayer are decent players. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The leaderboards and methods to earn points are fun and simple to understand. I also feel the app creator does genuinely care about the app and I enjoy his video updates. One of biggest shortcomings of the apps is the freezing during games. Often, while playing in Multiplayer, the game freezes mid-game. It’s frustrating especially during a good game or good hand. I don’t mind when I’m losing :) I’d also like to see finding players in Multiplayer less glitchy. Sometimes it removes me while I’m waiting on other players. It would also be nice to have a way of adding players in the future. Not a dealbreaker but it would be cool feature for VIP members.
As I mentioned previously, the app has a ton of potential, and I hope my feedback helps. It really added fun for some of my friends, family and me during the pandemic. Thank you for creating it :)

Could be great
Love that the app lets you play like you would in person. However, you lose your coins upon login and you get reset to the default 4,475. Like I had 120K and I was playing tryna open up Atlanta I login the next day it’s all gone. Also hate that you can’t really speak fr. You can only utilize the “smack talk” that’s pre set so you can’t tell your partner or opponent that it’s actually their turn we waiting on, or my screen is frozen. Which actually happens the screen will freeze and you’ll just be waiting forever, or your cards won’t flip over
Other than those glitches really the games solid. Wish the app was just offered as a buy instead of all the adds or having a subscription. would be a lot better if we could just buy the app and play and if we wanted little add on’s just have in app purchases of it.

Glitchy
Love this app when it works and I’m able to play with my wife. But every time the other team is in the negative the player who was invited either my wife or I are not able to see our cards because of glitches. Then the player who is still playing gets a notification that their teammate has left the game when one of us are still waiting for our cards to turn over. We truly enjoy the game when it works but the glitches have to be fixed. It kind of get annoying and frustrating after a while and really considering looking for another app that does the same thing but less glitches. Hope they can fix these issues…

I love this game
I love this game and I feel like more people should be playing it!! With that being said I got a few friends to download and register so that we can play but as soon as they click on link it either say” room doesn’t exist “ or it’s just a black/blank screen. After 30 minutes of trying to start a game we gave up!! Also how can I find my friend in the game and be partners with them instead of some random person other humans and or computer? And will you come out Black Spades that doesn’t have ads? Thanks for the game tho! Ima still play it bcuz it makes me think of back in the day when I got so good at spades I was offered a seat (in the park) at the grown folks table!!! 🙌🏾 mama I made it! 😂..... quick update: I just sat at a table with human people but no cards were dealt the game froze!! AI bots logic..?
AI still needs some tweaking regarding choice of cards it (AI) chooses to throw out leaving u shaking ur head. Example I would throw down lets say a 4 of diamonds to start the game and the AI (not having any diamonds itself) throws down an Ace of clubs even though it turns out later in game that same AI “player” had a lower clubs card it coulda thrown down. Anyway if that can get corrected would be great and also if u could add a blind “NILL” option for like 150 or more points would be awesome. Lastly THANK YOU for adding 10 bags penalty -100 points, been waiting for that for a long time adds that level of carefully choosing book bids I missed since when I first started playing myself. Appreciate all the work you’ve put into this game and look forward to future updates. Thank u.

So much potential! Get it together
I looked past all the glitches of trying to play with multiplayer. But today is my last day with this app. As I was playing the single mode in Charlotte feverishly every single day, trying to work my way up to 25 wins. All I wanted to do was play in the NYC or ATL room. Soon as I finally won my 25th game, I didn’t earn a race car table. No I was reset back to 0, and I refuse to play again. The game has so much potential as it’s the only app, that plays the way “we” play. But with all the glitches, I can no longer take it. I’ve been hanging in there since the pandemic, just hoping things would get better. Unfortunately, I will be deleting the app. I would love to help the developers on improving, and would definitely return if real improvements are made. -Signed a true black spades fan

Great game app but needs work
This is my favorite card game to play with friends who aren’t local— but I keep running into the same isssue with the ads. For some reason, they are not properly adjusted for the screen and every few games, I’m forced to quit the game because the X to end an advertisement (at the very top and far left or very top and far right) does not work. It is very frustrating and can be a real bummer when you’re having a good game with a bet on the line 😂. I hope this is fixed much sooner than later. It def cuts my returns to the app down. Plz keep updating for the better!

Needs work
I love playing this game but have to report several glitches.
1. Why do I have to send a text message link to get my husband to join my game? Then sometimes it doesn’t pop up when we click on the link. There should be a way to not have to send a link to have someone join your game.
2. Way too many glitches. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve been playing where it just freezes up! How ironic that is always freezes when the “computer” goes into the negative points.
3. No way can you through a spade before spades are played!! The computer always starts off with a spade as the very first book, super unfair.
4. Please all of the glitches. My husband and I bid 8 books before while the “computer” goes 4 and it counts as a misbid, but when we go 4 and the computer goes 8, we are allowed to play? Make it make sense please!
I’d love to play this game but the glitches is making it extremely hard. For anyone considering downloading, just know it’s a very fun game but know that you can start off with a spade at any time and that it’ll likely freeze if you’re winning and playing against the computer.

The way we play... BUT WAIT
When I first started playing this game, I was on full blown addict mode. I played this game night and day. During my “addiction” phase, I started noticing some things that kind of through me off. For starters, is there a reason why we can’t “purchase” anything else with our coins besides tables, “smack talk” and additional games? Maybe we could buy into higher levels of playing skill... which brings me to my next gripe.
Why is it that when you are playing single player or private multiplayer against a bot/computer, THEY ALWAYS UNDERBID OR THROW OFF HIGH NON-SPADES?! Example:
Human Team: 7 / Bot Team: 4
Beginning of hand: Human team leads with Ace of hearts, Bot 1 throws Ace of clubs
Hand 2: Human team leads with king of hearts, bot throws ace of diamonds
Typical outcome is bot gets set or makes their board. However, if bot would have thrown off a lower club or a lower diamond, bot could have counted those two aces as books or bot could have cut with spades, either way, they would have two count 2 additional books, thus making the game more strategic and skilled driven. It just seems like the bots are trying to watch out for sandbags but that option isn’t even turned on.

Love the game, some ads can’t be x’d out
Love the game content. Long time user. Best spades app on the market. Only writing this review (and giving 4 instead of 5 stars) to let the developers know that some ads are unable to be X’d out of which does not allow me to continue the game. On multiple occasions I’ve had to resort to closing the app and starting a brand new game because I was unable to close the ad out and continue game play. I’ve primarily come across this issue with the ad for Solitaire Tri Peaks when the X is in the top left corner of the screen. I am using an iPhone 11.
