Great mobile game
BlazBlue RR is a great game. People say that you have to spend loads of money to get through challenges or characters, which is not true. You can just grind up your main character to advance through stages. To the people who say you have to spend $100+ to get good characters-I have only spent $6 and I got 10 characters including mu-12. In order to get all of the characters you have to be at least vip 2 which can be acquired spending less then $6. After that it’s up to you to farm diamonds for your characters. Jin is literally free after playing for 30 days because of a particular login bonus and you can also just grind your characters cards (like mu-12). Getting vip just makes it easier and more relaxing. I did stop playing for a while and once when I logged in, the server gave my thousands of diamonds because of a error they made within the game.
Now the reason why I gave it a 4-star was because like seriously, you need to add more characters. Compared to the main game BlazBlue Central Fiction,I get really jealous that this game isn’t as good. They have more characters and the music/background are great.

Game is way better now
Love the game a lot of the game play the modes are awesome and I am enjoying it just two thing that I think should be addressed 1. The two characters mu 12 and kagura are paywalled but I’ll let that go know that you guys planning on the future release hero cards just like the rest so f2p players can play them as well last(very important) the thing that I sorta realized is you guys don’t have a account transfer aka. Server hopping function cause I like coop but can’t play it until like 3:00 am or 5:00am causes I live in a different country than Asia so having a Asia time event when I live in another sorta throws my chances of playing it just please if you read this add this function in and make it a one week cool down before next attempt at switching another account to a different server for obvious reasons. Thank you for looking and making changes to the game your adjustments are not going unnoticed and I’m proud that you did make changes to the game when we asked(refer to pre post below) thank you and have a wonderful day. 🤗

Still a paywall with cheap tactics...
I came back to Blazblue RR to check if the game has improved after a year. I was met with bigger paywalls and more broken characters behind those walls. A year ago, I gave this game only one star. I decided to give the game one more due to two improvements. First, the game has updated a lot since then and has added more equipment, more heroes and higher levels for players to enjoy. Second, more raids and events have been added to gain the new equipment said before. Unfortunately, the game is dangerously close to screwing up those improvements. Past issues are still relevant. Blazblue had a problem with cheap AI and cheap tactics (traps, super-armor, short time limits for purposely long fights, etc.) in the past. Somehow, they made it WORSE. The new characters in recent updates have been just as broken, completely destroying any player, which persists in PvE and PVP. Although higher levels have been granted, most upgrades are locked behind a paywall. Speaking of paywalls, it is sad that VIP is still the dominant force to enjoy the game fully. The game will constantly "ask" you to go VIP status by paying up to $200 for diamonds, bonuses (which are not worth it), and unlocking more chances to do a boss or raid or anything. I recommend playing this game only for a few levels and missions. But after that, you should stop and just go look for better games.

Great Game - Wish For Offline Component
I love this series and see this as a great adaptation. Mobile Fighters often leave me wanting from a gameplay perspective, but this does not. I only wish I could do something...anything... offline. The app description does not say network connection required, which was a little misleading, since other apps in the store add this description. I know there is wifi battle so the game is not entirely server controlled, so perhaps this request lies within the realm of possibility. Adding offline bot battles, or mission(s), or even special dungeon(s), I believe, would put this game over the top. The ability to play this game offline in any capacity would make me 5 star this game in a heartbeat. Great game regardless and I recommend for anybody with a stable internet connection.

Great gameplay, too expensive
Fantastic gameplay and amazing design. But online play is a non-starter against anyone who has paid for mu-12 or Kagura. There should be some way to limit or avoid matches against these characters. Of course I understand this is the hook for the pay-to-win scheme, but this is way overboard. Also, the rate of progress is painfully slow even after paying $6 for in-game status. The energy system is broken. Sometimes I just want to play for a bit, but I can’t, and it just feels like this should never happen after having paid money into the game. This game would cost a fortune to complete in a reasonable amount of time and at an enjoyable pace. If online play were balanced, maybe it would be worth the value of a console game. But for now I just feel foolish for ever having paid into this game and the VIP system. Please consider rebalancing the game and I will gladly continue playing it.

This game is really good but needs to be fixed quickly
This game is really good but the problem is that it needs to be updated quick because there’s a lot of bugs also it needs to be more like Cross battle on console. The app needs to have more characters like in the game of Cross battle and it needs to have better graphics and stages I know this game is made by Arc System Works which is a amazingly outstandingly good gaming company in my opinion but I know they only work on Console games like Guilty Gear strive, I just want them to improve this mobile app game it’s can really be an improvement on mobile I would like to hear feedback from the developer that would be helpful.

To many micro transactions
This mobile game along with so many others want to much money. On this game, It’s fine at the beginning but for whatever reason when you get to like a couple missions cleared you’ll hit a big monster that has a lot of HP and extremely high attack. Basically a level spike. And it’ll give incentive to give real life money for gems and whatever else the devs wanted to create for you to give them your money. In my opinion these free-to-play games should all be completely free with no micro transactions whatsoever. Or change the virtue signaling name to something like “free-to-pay”. Not “free-to-play”. Because all you doing is giving free money to level up your character faster. Basically you are paying the devs to to say “you win” and make you feel good. Heck, everyone please give me money and I can program you a screen to flash “congratulation you win” every time you give me money.

All Characters Not Available
Love the game. I have to say though, the first image for this game on the App Store is a lie. Unless I’m missing something Carl is not in this version of the game, and Litchi is not playable. What gives?
Edit: After some time with playing this game, suddenly the Gamecenter option is not allowing me to log on, for I’m getting login failed messages. So I can’t even play the game anymore! I refuse to start over and lose my data so....... I guess that’s it for this. I’m also understanding that this game is dead. Truly this is all a pity. For these reasons I’m lowering my initial 5 stars. It’s a fun game, but lack of further updates, and now it being unplayable is a bit of a hindrance.

Good game but...
I love this game to pieces I've been playing since December and I've enjoyed the whole time. I even sent a few dollars which was worth it actually. Most games money doesn't get you much this game is different. But the one thing that is ruining this game for me is because my phone broke. And when restoring everything and signing in to game center it would not let me get my old account back. I'm trying to get back to what I had but nothing will replace the five(I think) dollars I spent. And the worst part was that when i contacted the developers I got flat out ignored. But I still enjoy this game even if I'm a bit salty.

Pvp update please
I like this game and it's been around for a long time now but honestly the matchmaking is brutal. I don't think it balances players skills which is my issue. Maybe people don't care and rather play the game for a very very long time just to boost stats for pvp. I'm sure more people would enjoy playing pvp more if it was balanced. You already have to unlock 5 characters just to play that mode which is already a long time of playing... I bet people are discouraged by that and get over the game quickly. Although that is a big problem for me the game is still pretty cool and hopefully an update will happen or another mobile blazblue game.
