Hi im a pancake,
Feels great, needs updates
This game feels surprisingly good, especially considering it’s on mobile. The characters are fun, and the combo system allows for a lot of expression. But, it has some important features that are completely missing.

There is no online play yet, leaving you to beat up on cpus or lab stuff out in training mode. Sure, the game is fun, but if you can’t play it against real people then there’s nothing to keep you coming back. The dev has said they’re working on online though, so look out for that when it comes out.

There’s two other problems I have with the game: the tutorial and training mode. The game barely explains its mechanics at all. I’d like to know how combo scaling and bursts work specifically, but the tutorial doesn’t explain anything but the basics, and the training mode isn’t robust enough for me to figure it out. You can’t assign the training cpu to any actions, so you can’t even test out what moves hit high/low. Since this is a small game, I haven’t been able to find resources or a community around it outside the game, so you’re left clueless about a lot of things.

However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it out. It’s free, and it’s a fighting game that feels good on mobile. When this game gets online, and if the training mode is updated, I could see myself spending a lot of time with it. But until then, probably not.
Konamasura,
Updates have started going backwards
Hi, I’m a long time player of the game, (been playing almost since IOS launch) and I’ve noticed some of the recent updates, namely 1.2 have caused a shift in the gameplay in a negative way. While the new maps, characters, and fixes to the game are appreciated, the general game itself has started to lose some of its charm. Things such as “renting” fighters or locking fighters (some of whom are much stronger than the base characters) behind a paywall is a rather annoying thing to deal with, considering months ago this game was very good at having no micro transactions that changed the gameplay. While I do understand that developing a game requires money (hence the recent influx of ads) the fact that the game has adopted a somewhat P2W mentality upsets me as a long time fan of the game. While I hope that these issues are resolved and the developer finds a way to allow players more access to characters rather than hiding them behind a paywall, with the current path the game is on, I feel that the game may have lost some of its original appeal. The charm of simple fun fast paced fighting has been replaced by a struggle to go against some characters and feeling lacking in power to the paid fighters. All in all the game still is fun, but the devs must ensure that it doesn’t lose its gameplay to micro transactions.
A Former Anemic Man,
Great game for 2d anime fighter players
So my best friend recommended me trying this game out. My first look at it made me doubtful looking at the visual appeal at the game. I picked up Ares, went to training to learn some controls and mechanics, went into arcade and had a blast. This game is really good if you want to play a more mechanically solid 2d fighter down on your phone. There is no delay between input and character actions like games like Shadowfight, and the controls are easy to pick up, but rather precise than a braindead tippy tap and slides control.
I think I found one bug while fighting the enemy, it was an AI Summer, where we did some crossing up, and then she was stuck fighting turned the wrong way. Not sure what happened there, but it was the only bug I found. Another slight difference I have with the game is the fact you can dash in the air as much as you please. This allows for extensive air combos and would probably be awkward against other players in the upcoming online pvp game mode.
Otherwise, really solid mobile 2d fighter! It’s better than and other mobile copies of 2d fighters, and I’ll be keeping it on my phone. Really looking forward to seeing this game grow, I hope you get working ads soon to start getting some support for the game.
Jowizzy,
Great Update!
It’s been a while since I downloaded this game, and I’m amazed by the update of this game! Great job! The only issue that I have is the mechanics in the game have downgraded I noticed. When I battle the CPU in game, I noticed that they don’t fight the same way despite changing the difficulty in game compared to before this recent update. Without trying, I found a hack in the game of just walking into the CPU, backing them up and they don’t attack until I stop moving towards them. It’s not a challenge like it used to be. They don’t even commit to their combo strings either like before so it makes it too easy to make up for the damage taken. I don’t know if what I am saying is understood or can be addressed in next update, but that’s just something that I wanted to put out there that I noticed about the game. Just a minor bug, and a downgrade in competitiveness inside the game.
KwissyKwis,
Simple and fun 2D fighting game!
I spend most of my time playing fighting games, so stumbling into this game was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I’ve been playing nonstop, practicing some pretty crazy combos in the corner and even mid screen with the air dashes implemented in the game. I’m a person that likes training mode a lot, so maybe a reset button, some options for the dummy, damage info and maybe a bar option were it doesn’t refill automatically would be amazing!

I really can’t wait to see this game grow with characters, new mechanics and new options. I also wanted to ask really quick if there’s a bug where the ads don’t load, because i really want to try out the blocked characters and I just can’t seem to watch the ads. Love the game, will play it for a long time!
Firey_Husky,
Pretty good game
The game feels very fun. It is nice, smooth, and it feels like an actual fighting game.
I have a suggestion though but it is of course for you all to decide. A part where you can make your own fighter. Now this is just something that I don’t really care about if it is added or not but it can lead to new things. Of course there has to be move limits and most specifically for moves that can either infinite or just do massive damage. You can do what you want to add into it but adding this can lead to more things to do. Make save slots so people can create more if they want. But at least make it so free players can create one and that they need to pay to use the other slots.
This is a suggestion again so you don’t need to add it.
Nissaiscool,
Banger of a fighting game
If you know a good amount about fighting games, this game is for the Guilty Gear and Marvel versus Capcom players. HIGH damage and long combos, lot of variance of difficulty for characters. Somehow this free mobile game is just really really good. Only problems in terms of characters is that the two grappler characters aren’t that fun or strong, and there’s only one zoner who is more fun played as a rushdown. Besides that, the only problems with the game itself is that online isn’t (but will) included, so you are limited to playing with cpus or the training room (90% of my ingame time is in the training room, labbing is really fun in this game). Strongly recommend to at least keep it in mind for when the online finally comes around
Momto3-1plus2,
Love the game but there is someissue
I love the game, most of the five star review I see is how I feel about the game, by there is this one mechanic that is not present in the game. In fighting if a person receive damage; they gain slightly more meter than the person attacking. This makes the game interesting by giving a person that getting attack an option to break out it. Without it, a person may simply win by pressuring the opponent unless they have the ability to break. I’m hoping you will see this review and to put some thoughts of adding this mechanic into your game. I have another issue and it’s about the multiplayer, why can’t to people play the game. I thought it was going to be like a connect your phones deal.
HALFBLOOD135,
AMAZING
I’ve been looking for a fighting game that doesn’t have tap/swipe controls or doesn’t have awkward on-screen controls that are too small and THIS is it. I love the fact that it gives the player freedom to do whatever combos we want instead of using cool down moves and forcing us to play how the devs want us to. I’ve been playing fighting games my whole life and now that I can play one on my phone, I tip my hat to you guys.
Here are some critiques though:
- There are some questionable hit boxes when I’m hitting characters
- I often play with my own music playing in the background because the sound in game isn’t as pleasant
- There is a bug where when I try to play as daizen/summer or try to continue a match with infinite power/life where I can’t watch an ad because it says it’s still downloading
All of these things are nothing that can’t be fixed so I have faith in the devs
Overall, amazing game with even more potential. Great starter for beginners and a nice casual game for more seasoned FGC players

Online is gonna be gin/Akira spammers tho so maybe nerf em
Krispy N Kreamy,
Really fun game!
I just downloaded this game the other day because it was apples game of the day, and I’ve gotta say I’ve had so much fun playing this. It is honestly super addicting and it’s like a love letter to fighting game fans. I really enjoy the Jojo’s, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, and guilty gear references. Legato is definitely my favorite, and my friend, who also loves this game, plays Gin. I personally think this game is really smooth and doesn’t need a lot of improvement in terms of mechanics and all that but I would really love an Online mode with private matches, casual matches, and ranked matches. I would recommend this game to new and veteran fighting game players alike.
