Perfect Fasting Tracker For Simple Fast Tracking
The developer’s most recent update made the Apple Watch app actually functional, so you can start and stop a fast from your wrist. Additionally, this app counts down from when your eating period started, which is a key element of staying on track. The lifetime purchase is super cheap, so I’d go for it before that changes (hello, economy). I’d love to see the ability to set specific fast lengths for specific days, ie, weekdays 18/6 fasts & 23/1 fasts for the weekends. But I absolutely don’t need that. I just hope that the developer doesn’t clog the app with a ton of promotional/informative content. That’s the route a lot of apps go, and it’s annoying for those who just want to track fasting & aren’t looking for tips/tricks/listicles/nutrition plans etc. please keep it simple!

Simple Is Right
No muss, no fuss, no frills, no thrills, just straightforward tracking of intermittent fasting. If you don’t need a “community,” coaching or advice from a fasting app, if you just want to track your fasting with maybe your weight & a brief note, then this is the app for you. I deleted every other fasting app I ever used before because they were full of things I didn’t want or need, often pressure to join the “community” or get coaching — for extra charges of course. If you need all that, fine. If you don’t, you will be much happier with Simple Fasting. I certainly am.

Simple, no frills, just what I needed
I used Zero previously for a year or so before they started putting fluff into the app to justify rise in cost and subscription requirements.

I require simplicity and as the name of this app suggests, that’s what you get. A timer for different fasting ranges and water consumption counter in an elegant design. No fluff. Just what I personally needed.

This app is for you if you’ve done you’re research on fasting, have a plan, and don’t require all the distracting features such as articles, pep talks, etc.

Automatically tracks fasts. There are presets for the most common types of fasts with built in optional notifications for when to begin and end based on presets.

I love the fact that you can decide to end a fast and also delete it. (For those fasts when you just can’t make it and you don’t want the failure in your stats.)

Speaking of stats, the app tracks average weight optionally and automatically tracks average fasting hours over preset periods of a week, 2 weeks a year, etc.

Worth more than the very optional purchase price. (Fully functional without ads for no cost. Very generous.)

I paid the upgrade price because the app is totally worth it.

I like it
I like it a lot. I've paid for a lifetime sub. But I don't like that it sometimes resets? I will start fasting and then the next day when I go to stop fasting it will not show that I've ever started. I also don't like the pop-up asking me to review every time I open the app. It's basically perfect. Please stop messing with it!

Used to be great
This app used to be great, but recently there are frequently days where I go to stop my fast from the previous day only to find that the log has reset and it is no longer tracking my fast. Rather than say “end your fast” it says “start your fast” even though I started it over 16 hours ago. Very frustrating and kinda makes this app pointless if it’s not tracking my fast properly. Hopefully this is a recent bug that can be fixed, because this app used to be so helpful.

Allow to Change incorrect information - redact!!
It would be really nice if I can change information that I already saved when I realized I put in the wrong information. Now all my historical data is not representative

Good but not great
This helps a lot for me to stick to fasting. I guess seeing it count makes it easier. Good app. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because you input your weight. And you can have it sync to you health data from apple but it doesn’t actually sync. So your weight doesn’t get updated in this app. It’s not a huge deal just annoying.

Clean and simple fasting timer/tracker
I used Zero for about a year, but their app has become way too cluttered and I don’t want to pay $50 for Zero Plus (which turns off the nagging and provides fasting coaching, which sounds super silly to me).

Simple Fasting provides a nice interface, similar to what Zero used to be. The $2.99 to help the developer is more than fair.

Is what i was looking for…. Used fastic for a year…. But they added to many complicated features… this is super simple…. Allows one to change the times… only been one day since I downloaded this app..
