Fun little app with an adorable, easy to use interface. Choose color pallete by swiping around the wheel on the left hand side. Swipe up, down, and diagonal along the right hand rectangle to change the gradient. Hit the "sun" button to increase the vibrancy or opacity of the bokeh dots. Swipe your finger around the photo to place the bokeh.

A simple app to mimic DSLR results. Works every time!

I'm very pleased with this app, and I hope to be able to provide a 5-star rating one day.

Here's what it does well already:
1) you can adjust opacity in 3 grades
2) you can choose color palettes and adjust the gradient order
3) you can select four bokeh types
4) you can save in full resolution

Here's what it needs to do:
1) I would prefer to adjust opacity with a slider for full control
2) I would insist on being able to create my own color palettes
3) I would like to be able to control the size of the bokeh effects
4) I would like an eraser tool so I am able to erase a single bokeh element from one of my swipes

The foundation of this app is strong, which I hope is a reflection of things to come. I will be happy I spent 99 cents if the above items are addressed. Would even be willing to spend an extra buck for an app that provides all of the above and maybe a little more.

I left the above review when the app was released. The developer has not addressed any of the recommendations made by myself and numerous others. This is very disappointing, and has reduced my rating to 2 stars. Developers ought to listen to their paying customers.

I have the app for my iPhone 4 and it works pretty great. The only thing I would change is being able to delete more than just the most recent 4-5 bokeh, but that's not a big deal. Color pallets easy to work with, can adjust the opacity. If you don't like the size of the bokeh you get just delete it and try again since it seems to be random, but maybe they'll have size options one day. I had to pay for the app but I think it's worth it :)

Great app!! Definitely worth $.99!!! 👍👍 Excellent design beautiful interface. All I would ask for is more color options. But the ones available are awesome and you can tweak them to do what you want with no problem. You can change the opacity just click the little 🔆 button!!

Also I must say I am so happy this app does NOT SHARE PICTURES. I am sick of apps that do, if you want that get Instagram. This is not that and that's the reason I love it!!!

I love this app, it's the only bokeh app I use. The colors are fantastic, though it'd be nice to add a few more strips in an update! Also, it would be awesome if a "move bokeh" option, or an exact placement option. But don't get rid of the random effect, just make it so there are two options. Anyway the effect is lovely, definitely worth it to get this app!

It needs improvements though. We should be able to pick from a real color wheel.! We should be able to adjust the size of it too. So 4 stars for now. 5 stars if u improve it.

I wanted an app specifically for bokeh, and this is perfect! Easy to use, and I love that you can draw right onto the photos. You can also change the direction and size of the gradient, and there are lots of great color combinations to choose from. Wonderful overall!

Was skeptical for awhile. Finally gave in, and bought this app. Loooove it! Touching the color palette moves the colors around. So you're able to get preferred colors where you want them. 4 different shapes of Bokeh. Hope there's updates. In the meantime, the sky is the limit.

Although this app is featured as being universal – meaning, it's made for both iPhones and iPads – In reality is, there is no landscape orientation. Which means that this app can only be used while holding your iPad vertically, as if it were an iPhone.

As anyone knows, this becomes tedious. Quickly.

The concept is great, the results can be interesting. But I cannot envision using this app very often, as long as it is such a hassle for an iPad owner to use.
