The great finisher!
Been using PICFX for many years now and I use it on the vast majority of the pics I post to social media. Even if I start the edit in another app or use multiple apps to work the pic I find that the PICFX filters are the perfect finish to achieve the look I’m going for. And they’ve been putting in a ton of work over the last few months making the app easier to use and advancing the available filters. Can’t recommend enough.

Saddened, disappointed mostly.
This app used to be so cool, and my go to for editing pictures to give them a pop. But all of the features I loved are gone - I redownloaded without reading the reviews, and lemme tell you, that was a waste of time. The old filters that were cool and special on this apple are gone: bokeh, texture, lights, galaxy. What use is there for this app now? Literally all the filters are built into smartphones now. There’s no need to download an additional app, let alone pay for basic filters that don’t differ from competing apps. I’m not surprised to see all the other reviews saying the same thing. But it doesn’t matter, we’ll be ignored. Don’t download this app, it’s a waste and you’re better using your built in filter editor in your photos. Definitely deleting. Unfortunate.

Paid for this app 3 years ago and purchased a filter pack. I had to restore my phone and lost all of my apps and when PicFX redownloaded I tried to open it and it just crashes over and over. I tried to delete it and reinstall and it does the same thing. All of these 1 star reviews, I just hope the pack I bought is still there.

Not the app I remembered
I rarely use this app for photo editing or preset filters. My primary app is VSCO cam and it works for most things I want to do. I kept PicFX and used it only occasionally when I wanted a special effect for a photo, mostly light leaks, bokeh, sparkles, galaxy type stuff. The silly trendy stuff that can make a sup-par selfie more fun. I opened it today and was confused to find none of those things. Thought I was crazy at first, and checked all my other apps before coming to the review section. No reason to keep this app around now. I am sure it does its new job fine, but why would I switch from VSCO?

One of the best Photo App’s
This is a very user friendly app, the filters are gorgeous and a breeze to apply/adjust. The changes made to the app were much needed, they removed some of the more cheesy effects, and added some essential filters. Stacking filters is also very easy to accomplish.

So disappointing...
I've never written a review for an app before in my life, and I'm sad to say my first one will be a sad one star for picfx. It used to be my favorite, but now with the most recent update all of the things that I loved and (and paid for) are gone. No bokeh, lights, texture, etc. (i.e...why I purchased this app). Of what remains, almost half are premium and require additional payment. It's kind of insulting to customers who have used, loved and paid for picfx....Sad. (Also, I tried the restore recommendation from the customer service comment before mine and it did nothing). 😐

Basic App
This used to be my go-to app for filters, back when I was really involved in social media. I’ve cut back a lot on social media the last couple of years, but I recently went back into the app, and was super disappointed to see that all the good filters are gone. The light leaks and textures were my favorite and really set this app aside from every other app I ever used for photo editing. And the fact that they were free was a bonus! Now I feel like it just has basic photo edits. Nothing special about it at all. Deleted.

Doesn't deserve 1 star
This app used to be my favorite photo editing app. Tons of effects, filters and frames! With the current version there is next to nothing. No frames, no effects, and only a small handful of filters. So disappointed with this product now. I'm hoping the developers will reconsider their decision to scale down the features and bring them back with the next upgrade. If not, I'm deleting PicFX from my phone and will continue to search for something that was a wonderful as what PicFX used to be.

All the good filters are gone.
I almost never post app reviews but I had to say something about this. Picfx was my go-to app for cool filters and they are now all gone! This app does what Instagram and Twitter and even my camera roll on my iPhone offer innately. I have no use for this app anymore and the premium filters I previously paid for have been restored and downgraded from what I originally purchased. No idea why you guys took away everything that was cool about your app! I'll return if the filter do... otherwise ✌🏼

Very Disappointing
This app wasn’t free and I paid for the previous filters such as boker and other filters that was included before the new update. Do not buy this app because eventually you will end up with half of the filters gone again. The restore purchases button doesn’t work and doesn’t bring back the filters that you paid for. I will file a complaint to this app developer that made Picfx. Picfx scammed everyone and hasn’t paid attention to their bad reviews!
