Loved this tool personally. I had a tremendous experience with the overall platform. Gone are the days of missing an assignment because you read 17th and not the 7th, then having to beg a teacher/professor for an extension.
Boost notifications can help boost your grades countless times; I had to try and beg for a point or two to get a higher rate for my class. When I’m reality had I not missed homework assignments or deducted points for late papers I’d already have the grade I was trying to achieve.
It was extremely simple to use and all I had to do was connect my canvas account. I was able to free up time from planning to focus on the actual work I needed to get done and on time for deadlines. Life can get crazy keeping your school life, work life and personal life in check. Simplify it with Boost 💯

this app is slick
I’ve used a planner my whole life but still forget assignment deadlines half the time anyway. The notifications from boost are easy reminders that help keep upcoming due dates top of mind. Plus, I’m on my phone way too much anyway so when I’m on hour two of my tik-tok rabbit hole, it’s the perfect little nudge for me to start doing my homework lol.

Randomly stopped working for my University
Randomly found out from IT that this app no longer works for my university since July. I don’t understand how this app doesn’t work for Indiana University when it’s still an option to login to.

Doesn’t log in on canvas
Disappointed... I couldn’t even log in on Canvas when I first opened the app. It would give me an error and wouldn’t connect to my school LMS and my account. There was no even a chance for me to try this app for my actual classes :(

Needs to connect to Canvas app.
This app is a fine idea and I know it’s still in it’s Beta trial, but one major flaw is that any link to canvas directs you to the canvas website and not the app. The website is way less user friendly. If IU Boost could be intertwined with the Canvas application in the future, it’d be much better.

Doesn’t work for me
I go to a school that promotes and uses boost yet when I log in I have to verify with the duo app and it never loads duo.

Extremely useful!
I used this app while at IU and it really helped me out during my last semester and it was hard to keep track of all that was going on. I wish it would’ve come out sooner! Highly recommend if you’re trying to stay on top of assignments.
