If you have an Apple Watch, you can create breathing exercises on the go right on the Watch. All of your Breathing exercises will stay in sync thanks to iCloud!

Thank you for using Breathable! In this update I fixed a few minor bugs and made a number of small improvements. There is a new black alternative icon that is free for all users to show support for Black Lives Matter. In terms of fixes, I focused a lot on improving accessibility features in the app. Breathable now works much better with VoiceOver and if you have larger text on your device the font has improved.

Introducing Ambient Sounds! Breathable now features 8 ambient sounds: White Noise, Ocean, Nature, Rain, Campfire, Stream, Fan, and Thunderstorm. These are great for when you're trying to focus on a project, relax, or want to take a quick departure to a different place. There is now a new Browse tab that incorporates breathing exercises and ambient sounds in an easy to use interface. Next, there is a new design for the iPad version of Breathable, this design takes advantage of the iPad's large screen to show you the great content in Breathable. Next, there is a new Apple Watch design, this design matches the iPhone design to provide a more cohesive feel. Next, you can now quickly jump into a breathing exercises, ambient sounds, or go home from your home screen Finally, I made a few changes to the profile screen, you can now tap on a past breathing exercise to breathe again.

I found it was often difficult for users to understand what Pine was all about based off of the name, so after a lot of thought I have decided to change Pine to Breathable. A name that I think better communicates the purpose of the app. There are no other changes on the face of things in this update, there are some under the hood changes to prepare for a MAJOR new update that's coming later this Spring. I cannot wait to share it with you!

Introducing a whole new design of Pine! This version takes Pine to the next level, now with amazing pictures for every breathing exercise and new featured breathing exercises. I didn’t stop there though, Pine Premium is now a subscription. Every month from here on out, I’ll release new breathing exercises and content just for Pine Premium subscribers. As an aside, if you purchased Pine Premium in the past you will not lose access to what you had access to prior to this update; however, as new features and content comes out you will need a subscription to access them. This update adds a new setting to turn on and off Haptic feedback while breathing with Pine on iPhone. Additionally, I have improved breathing on the Apple Watch, you can now press the screen while breathing. This will help prevent the screen from going to sleep while you're doing a longer breathing exercise. It also fixed a few bugs and made a few under the hood tweaks.

This update finally adds the ability to change the duration of every breathing exercise in Pine!! On iPhone and iPad you can select any time between 1 and 30 minutes and on the Apple Watch any time between 1 and 10 minutes. There are also a few small improvement here and there.

Lots of changes in this update! To start, there is a new breathing “exercise” called “Take a Moment”. This exercise is to help you find a minute in your day to relax, close your eyes, and appreciate the day.
Next, I made a lot of little improvements and bug fixes throughout the app. The two big ones: there was a bug causing the Watch app to be free for everyone, this has been fixed. Secondly, I changed the haptic feedback slightly on the iPhone to be more relaxing.
Finally, there are 6 new app icons! Each app icon’s background matches a breathing exercise’s color, if you have purchased Pine Premium you can use these icons. They look great!
It was a busy summer, and I have no plans to slow down now!

This update has a few design changes: your profile has moved to the upper right, an all new design on the iPad, and improvements to Your Profile. This update also features iCloud data syncing, which means all of your breathing exercises will stay in sync in the cloud. If you breath on your Watch it will sync to your iPhone and iPad. Next, this update adds support for the independent Watch app. This means you will no longer need to have the iPhone version of Pine to breath. Finally, I didn't forget about Dark Mode. Pine now features Dark Mode new in iOS 13. As a final note, this update requires iOS 13.

Breath timing
This app contains a marvelous concept and I love it. I gave it three stars because it seems to me the timing is off. What is supposed to be 4 seconds for each segment of Box breathing is actually a short three seconds. If the timing were more accurate I would give it a four, or even five star review.

The screen keeps going to sleep on my Apple Watch
I payed for premium so that I could use this app on my Apple Watch, but the screen keeps going to sleep a few seconds into the breathing session, taking the sounds and (faint) haptics along with it. I’m hella disappointed because I otherwise like the app. What a bummer.
