Description
Intertime is an easy to use interval timer for Apple Watch. Interval timers are great for athletes and casual exercisers who want to improve their speed, endurance, or overall performance. When you open Intertime, you’re presented asked to enter the amount of time you’d like to “work” for. This is the amount of time you’d like to sprint, walk fast, pedal hard, lift weights, etc. Then you enter the amount of time you’d like to “rest” for: jog, causally walk, coast, or take a break. Additionally, you can skip your work time if you’re unsure of how long you’d like to work for, but know your rest duration. This is particularly useful for those who are weight lifting.
Then you’re all set! Now you tap start and begin to work out. Timely starts with the rest timer to give you a chance to warm up, then it will switch to “work” and the back to “rest” and so on.
What makes Intertime great, is that it is on your wrist, and is using the power of the Apple Watch. Every time the rest or work timer reaches 0:00 it will provide you with haptic feedback. In fact you could go the whole workout without ever looking at your Watch.
Once you're done using Intertime, you can tap “Finish”. Then you will be provided with a list of information telling you how long you worked out for, the number of sets completed, and the amount of time you spent “working” and “resting”.
Intertime runs along side your other watch workout apps. When I was building Intertime, I was unsure if I wanted to make a complete workout tracker or not. Truth is, most people love their workout tracker they already have and probably don’t want to switch. Therefore, Intertime will run along side your workout app. It’s easy to switch between the two, as well. Let’s say you start a timer in Intertime before beginning your work out, then start a workout in your workout app of choice. Just double press the Digital Crown to switch between the two apps.
Thank you for considering Intertime, I hope it helps you improve your fitness and health,
Casey
