Horrible Battery,
Bad battery and customer service
So, my wife bought me this drone for Christmas. I flew it twice and put it away for a few months. When I broke it out again, one of the batteries won’t charge. It had only been charged twice since its initial unpacking. I called customer service yesterday and the hold time was 87 minutes. I waited on hold until the recording said hold time would be 11 minutes. Then the hold time went to 79 minutes. Not acceptable. I hung up and called again choosing a different department. Eventually somebody answered and said basically I would need to buy a new battery because the messed up battery was indeed messed up. I said that it was only charged twice, she told me again that I could buy a $60 battery for a $180 drone. Guess I’ll use only one battery and not give these folks any more of my money.

This app is actually working today. I thought I would try it out again after my drone sitting in my closet for a couple of years not being able to be used because for some reason the app would not work. But I thought about just trying it out today again and today it seems to work. Apple and Yuneec please continue to work together to keep this app working, it’s no fun having a drone that requires this app in order to work when the app won’t work.

I cannot fly my drone anymore because this Breeze Cam app keeps crashing. I contacted Yuneec Customer Support about this and this was their response. “Unfortunately that drone is discontinued. We no longer support the app. A third party company is working on updating the app to be compatible with the newest version of IOS. Updates will be announced when available”

Three Years? Really?
This is what happens when a manufacturer doesn’t update their essential app, required to operate their drone. The drone is useless now that the app doesn’t work anymore. Since they haven’t updated their app for three years, it’s not surprising it eventually stopped functioning.
It needs to be updated. It doesn’t work with the latest versions of iOS either in iPhone or iPad. It’s broken. It just crashes. Lots of other drone owners are reporting the same issue.
And because it doesn’t work, it renders the drone that goes with it completely useless.

Will give 5 stars but...
I got the breeze as my first drone and was the one that did not break the bank and had nice features.
I have flown it a few times, and takes good pictures and videos... 2 days ago I tried to use the feature I bought it for; live streaming, tried facebook and got the “Application is in development mode” error, so FB does not work, then tried You Tube live... I went to the whole enrollment process and when finally completed I try to stream, and the app spins on the starting streaming phase... and never streams... The app hasn’t been updated in a couple years so I’m assuming some protocols have changed... Pleeeeeeease fix the app!!!!! And keep updating it!!!!

Decent app
Camera on the breeze is great. My biggest problem is the WiFi loses connections a lot. Sometimes at 40-50 feet. It also doesn’t warn you when signal is going. I fear the drone coming down on a car. That being said I am just very careful with it and didn’t expect great range for a WiFi drone. The controller is helpful but like many others I wish it controlled camera pitch as it’s supposed to. I have a lot of fun with this drone and will be upgrading to the Typhoon H to get the shots I want.

Breeze app
My breeze drone had a battery that went bad and I only had 1 so it got put on the shelf for a year and I finally got a new battery. The drone was working great when it was last used and should of worked with battery replacement but when I got it powered up my phone did an update on the app and now when I open app then hit the Next button to get it up and running it just disappears. The last update from 4 years ago makes the drone useless. Why has the app not been fixed? Planed obsolescence it seems like.

Man I bought this drone from someone and saw them flying it, and when I started to try and fly it, every time I open the app it closes immediately I mean I can’t even try to hurry and go to settings it kicks off, is it anyway you can fly without the app???? If not can you guys fix the app please it’s like my money is gone, and I wouldn’t sell anyone something that doesn’t work properly, because this is America and we should treat the person that’s spending their hard earned money right!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW GUESS IM S.O.L

Frustrated User: App Crashes within 10 seconds
I purchased my drone a little over a month ago and the app crashes within 10 seconds of opening it. Seeing as the drone can only be operated with the app, I can’t use it. I’m a little bummed, especially as the boxing information asks you to contact Yuneec Customer Service instead of returning to the retailer. They aren’t answering, so as of now I’ve had no luck in getting my drone up and running. Hoping I didn’t just waste money in this investment.

App crashes
This was an incredible drone. I broke my first one and got another. Just like everyone else is saying, the app crashes on every device I’ve tried. Since there are reviews about this from a year ago, I am not feeling very confident that an update will happen. I cannot afford another one so I have an expensive drone that won’t work. The developers should at least respond to these reviews and tell us whether there’s any hope.

Battery fix
all you have to do is take a drill battery and hook the wires up to it for a few seconds to charge it because it’s too dead and then put it in your charger and then it will work
