Perfect brewery discovery app
Basically met everything I wanted in a brewery finding app. There’s not one brewery I know of in my state that they don’t have on here. They also were very quick to remove a place I suggested wasn’t a brewery from the app (it was a Miller bottling plant..), glad to see the devs or whoever still pay attention to this app.
Just wish more people used it. I’ve been the first to review about 10 different breweries in Ohio lol, tough to get recommendations on breweries when not many people are reviewing 😅

Buggy and Not User Friendly
I’m assuming that with more updates, this app will continue to improve. It’s a great idea, just not well executed. The search function is a little awkward, but the most frustrating part of it all is how incomplete the brewery list is. The list appears to be mostly user-compiled, which would be a great feature if the “Suggest a New Brewery” option actually worked properly. Anytime I have tried to upload a brewery’s logo when submitting a suggestion, the app freezes and I lose all of the info I entered. So I leave off the logo. (Whatever. The completist inside me is beating his head against a wall, but I let it go.) I suggested a brewery some time ago, and it still has not been added to the list. So what’s the point of it all if there’s an incomplete list and no way to add breweries in a more expedient way? Seems like a more effective method would be a simple Google search for “breweries around me.” Or hell, even Yelp is more informative. Wow, sorry, that was a bit of a rant. Again, I hope updates and improvements will help this app’s functionality and performance, because I do really like the concept.

Was awesome, but not really maintained anymore
As a heavy user of this app for 2+ years (over 300 places visited), it was awesome. But it’s now less so. It seems as if it’s not maintained anymore, or infrequently at best. Adding a new brewery, editing info of an existing one, or getting closed places removed takes forever, if it’s done at all. There are places we’ve tried to have added multiple times over the course of MONTHS and nothing. It didn’t used to be this way. This app is a great starting point if you’re planning a brew hopping trip, but also use google maps to verify breweries along your route. You may find new ones not on the app or ones on the app that have been closed for some time.

Love, love, love this app!
My boyfriend and I love to try different breweries as we travel around town or across the US. This is a great way to see what’s nearby and what others thought of different places along the way! I am really hoping more people take advantage of the things this app has to offer.

Somethin’ happened
Liked this app but it seems to have lost some functionality. The pins so how new breweries to the user not yet visited (orange) and those that a user visits and rates (Green pin). It has stopped converting the pin color from orange to green when rating. That’s sort of the point for me; to recall places by name and location when traveling back to a city for work or fun. Gonna have to shop for another app. :-(

I have tried other brewery apps and this one seems to be the most up to date and accurate. I wish there was a place to make my own notes though. This would be stellar! How about an app update?

Finding Breweries Near Me
This app is great just for that- Breweries Near Me. Provides an updated list by distance and will connect to your maps app. I’m not into points or badges and levels, I like to check out different breweries.

Our go-to app
Anytime we are out and about Brewee is THE app we use the most. It’s helped us find some super great beers and places we otherwise would have missed. If this app ever went away I would be devastated.

You can’t edit your information
This is one of the better brewery apps I have found. My only complaint is that once you hit the “visited” button you can not go in and edit the date you were there. Knowing when I visited each brewery is important to me but unless I check it off that day I can’t go back later and edit it.

The map function is the best part
Great app, the map function helps me plan day trips and vacations. The app doesn’t constantly send notifications like other beer apps. Genuinely great app
