Happy buddies,
Brian’s Toys came to the Rescue!!
My grandmother who is 87 years old has been collecting Barbies for the last 40 years and has always said she would sell them when she was older. Well that time came and went and so it became my job as her grandson to help sell them in my time off this summer. She has over 200 new in box dolls, so neither her or I had the time (or skill set) to sell all of them on eBay. I was absolutely delighted when I found Brian’s toys, and the process of working with them has taken so much stress out of the whole situation. From the intuitive app to scan toys, the quick turn around time for the quote, and the incredible customer support, Brian’s toys clearly had this down to a science. I ended up packing over 24 moving boxes full to the brim with dolls, and the staff at Brian’s made it so darn easy and worked with me to get a great rate on the shipping. I just want to thank the entire team at Brian’s for making it such a positive and seamless experience, we could not have done it without them!!
Happy SW fan,
Awesome to use
I had no problems downloading the app and using it. Very straight forward and easy to use. The customer service is awesome and got back to me with a few days of each question and inquiry. Most of the negative comments on here are because most of these people want “retail” pricing for their items. Then don’t realize that the company needs to make a little something as well. Also what they THINK the item is worth is NOT actually what it is worth. Good rule of thumb here is, your item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Have a bunch more stuff I will be scanning with them. JUST AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Thank you Brian’s Toys!

Not Worth It
Went through scanning, submitting list, and getting an offer. The scanning part of the app stopped working after 60 or so items. Later tried scanning other items, got 21 onto a different list. Most prices received were under 5% of eBay values for the same sold items on eBay. Sorted through my items for the toys with offers and boxed them, weighed boxes. Shipping is discounted by more than 50%, but after deducting that cost from the total offered, it was not worth the net I would have been paid. Brian’s Toys says they are “strict” with their grading, so although my toy collection is quite collectible, still new in boxes after 30 plus years, and easily saleable, there is no information about their grading process, so you may not get the price they offered in the first place. I will keep my collection and sell piecemeal on eBay or elsewhere as selling just two of the items there that they wanted to buy will net more money than the net price that I would have received from Brian’s Toys, and with far less hassle. My advice is to skip using this app and Brian’s Toys completely.
Gonna got ya,
To say insulted would be a massive understatement!
I got sick of my 1993 power rangers sitting on a shelf untouched for way too long. I can blame myself thinking not everyone is out to rob you. It’s been years since I checked online for an updated price, but I figured I’d try it out for fun. I got an $85 quote for an item that I knew was worth much more and since I wasn’t in a hurry I considered it. Until I got a message less than a day later saying they gave me the wrong buy price and re-quoted $20 or $25 dollars instead. I thought for $60 less I’d take 2 minutes to look it up. $400 for mint like mine and $300 for used. I know these are long shot prices, but if just one person considers it something they just need than why not? $85 was pushing it, but $25? Thank you for reassuring me that there are still plenty of people out there waiting to take advantage of others. Sorry! Not this time! They really need to start allowing zero stars when it’s called for.
mikki davis,
Great experience
Using the app to scan approximately 100 barbies worked very well. I did have about 10 that didn’t scan & required additional assistance from Brian’s toys.
After pondering if I really wanted to sell my collection, and excellent customer service & communication from Travis, I boxed up my dolls & sent them on their way.
About a week went by for delivery & product review. But as soon as they were reviewed, Travis was in touch & our transaction was complete. Paid in full as agreed upon.
Thank you to Brian’s toys for taking the time consuming task of individually selling my dolls, off my plate.
Cozicrafts,
Brian’s Toys made the decision easy
When my mother asked me to find a venue to help sell her small toy collection, I didn’t know where to begin. A few Google searches in, I found Brian’s Toys. Their video on ‘this is how we do it’ was encouraging. After a few pictures and a couple of emails- we had an offer that was more that we expected. The process was easy and mom was very happy with the offer. We’ll have to see what other toys are hiding in closets and do this again. Thank you Brian’s toys for making this an easy task fruitfully completed!
Jenltk,
Easy to use app, excellent service
Twice I have sold a large quantity of dolls to this site. The app was very easy to use and made communicating about my items simple. Once I scanned my items, the customer service was top-notch. I had researched prices before my sale and found their offers to be competitive. The staff was friendly and quickly responded to all my questions. I was most nervous about shipping such a large quantity but that too was made easy by Brian's Toys. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to sell toys.
pethkemike,
Talk about above and beyond…..
To say Brian’s Toys is great and provides outstanding customer service is an absolute understatement!! I was so pleased with my phone interaction that I couldn’t help but to just sit and think about how well put together and thought out this company is. I would recommend this business 10/10 every single time, hands down. Thank you guys. I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to helping me with my toy selling questions and needs!

Easiest and Best Ever
I was a little skeptical at first because the process was just was too easy. But…this is a legit app and team. After receiving my quote, the finalization, shipping and payment was within a few days. It was too easy that I even called to speak with them to make sure I was doing it correct and they were so friendly and professional to assure me.
ChayGuy,
Not really a tool for casual collectors
If you’re a serious/money collector, this app is not for you.

While it is a neat and clever idea, these people have zero intentions on paying fair prices for legitimate collectibles.

To begin with, their database doesn’t seem to be too expansive yet. I won’t give them a hard time for that because everyone has to start somewhere- and like I said, this is a neat idea, in theory.

I am serious collector of Funko pops. I have paid rent with the money I’ve made with these things at times. I know a thing or two about them. I have an expansive collection but it took me a while to scan something that was actually found on this app. I took a big money item and scanned it only to get back a $6 quote. Uh uh. Nice try, Stephen Frye.

So it was a nice thing to check out but I’ll delete the app and keep on truckin’ with my old world ways of actually speaking to people and haggling and dealing… like a man… with chest hair!
