The 20th Anniversary Edition of Bridge incorporates a significant number of small changes to improve both bidding and card play. Whilst any individual change is small the cumulative effect is to produce a stronger Bridge game. Thankyou for your feedback, comments, tips and suggestions, please keep them coming

Bridge supports the following 3 modes of play:

In Rubber Bridge a rubber is played as the best of three games. A game is won by the first partnership to score 100 or more points in successful contracts.

In Chicago Bridge, also known as Four-Hand Bridge, you play exactly four hands of Bridge. The winner is the partnership that scores the most points.

In Tournament Bridge you play at your own pace against players from around the world in duplicate style Bridge tournaments. Each player in a tournament plays the same hands with the winner scoring the most points. Alternatively you can easily create your own online Bridge club, invite your family, friends or even some enemies then play in duplicate style Bridge tournaments against your own select set of players.

What is Bridge?
Bridge is a trick taking card game played by four players who form two partnerships. Players within a partnership face each other across a table. Traditionally, the players are referred to by the points of the compass - North, East, South and West. The two partnerships are North/South and East/West.

Designed for both beginners and more advanced players you can choose how you prefer to play. There are plenty of features if you are trying to learn Bridge including auto play and hints. Meanwhile the more advanced players can use the bid analysis or replay hand features to explore different lines of card play.

GAME FEATURES:
* Unlimited hands built in (well approx 2 billion but....)
* Play game points or slams all day if thats what you want to do.
* Play in online Bridge tournaments
* Create your own Bridge clubs
* Compare your bidding the Bridge V+ AI bidding.

DEVELOPED BY BRIDGE PLAYERS

The small team behind Bridge have been producing Bridge games for over 40 years. One of our first products was Bridge Challenger released in the early 80s!

Do we get every bid correct or play every hand perfectly? absolutely not!. Often there is no one single correct answer making Bridge the game we love. Meanwhile we continue to develop and improve the game.

COMMENTS + SUGGESTIONS.
Please feel free to contact us via our support email if you have comments and suggestions. Please, please include any Deal Id if you are commenting on specific deals as that is the only way we can reasonably play the hand in question here.

Starman6,
Better Than Most
I primarily like playing on my own against the AI, which performs better than most Bridge apps out there. Good range of hands dealt so you don't have long runs of low point hands. The AI opponents bid competently. Some apps have totally outlandish bids. The hints offered are actually useful, if needed.
I would like an Undo button right on the main screen rather than needing to navigate through the review button.
Great customization options for the look of the cards, table and cloth too. And, the in app purchase to remove ads is quite reasonable for the quality and features offered in this game. Definitely a keeper for me!
windybridge,
Points dealt to computer incredibly lopsided!
I play this A LOT, but with increasing frustration. As noted earlier, in no trump, my partner usually takes bid to game when only 2 of the 4 suits have been bid by me, and he usually has only adequate coverage in one of the remaining suits. This happens frequently-perhaps mostly- but does not seem to occur between the two computer partners.

My single biggest complaint, though, is the grossly disproportionate distribution of points. I think 70-75% of the time the computer has points to make game, and 10-15% of the time has enough combined points to bid+and make-small slam. If you don’t pay to play, this of course makes for unhappy play and great difficulty “earning” points to continue play without ads.

It is this 2nd issue that has led me to search for another alternative. I feel defeated before I ever face the challenge. There is not much fun-or learning-in that.
bfamily83,
Great Bridge App
I love this game. I primarily just play “Rubber Bridge” against the computer. One thing I’d like to see is an option that maybe says “see how”. After a hand is completed it shows how many tricks the computer would’ve taken if it had played all 4 hands. It would be nice to “see how” the computer got those number of tricks. When you tap on “see how” it goes through the whole hand. Would be very useful for people who are new learners of the game and for folks who are just trying to improve their game. Great work guys…I love this app and play it way more than I should!!
tinsleytoo,
Love the game, but...
It’s fast and predictable to a point. I play it a lot. Grin.

However, the bidding sometimes goes off the rails. Could my partner get some sort of software update? He misses some basics.

Goes to game without enough info often. Misreads bids as small slam cues.

1. If computer partner opens 1 of a major suit and partner responds 2 of the same suit, that’s a really weak response. Opener should pass at the 2 level. Often he goes to game without enough points.

2. In no trump computer partner goes to game with insufficient points. Again, if he bids 1nt and I bid 2nt, I may only have 7 points. He should pass. If I have 10 I’ll go to 3nt. Because if he only has 15 points and I have 7 we don’t have game. That happens.

3. He misreads the jump shift.

He plays the Jacoby transfer transfer well most of the time, and weak twos as well. And generally his card play is superb. He picks off the extra tricks. Yikes. That’s the wow factor. I’m always pleased on the rare occasion when I beat his socks off.
Rvartist,
Best bridge game
I’ve tried many different bridge games. This one is fun and stable. Is it perfect....no, but it has few flaws. I guess if you’re a master bridge player, you will find problems with play or bidding, but for most of us regular folks it’s great. I like that I can redo bidding or play. I like I can replay the hand according to how the game played and got more tricks than I did. It’s how to learn.
woogie 1000,
Impossible. Not free apparently Friday
E snd W always seem to have the better hands. I can’t figure out how to set the hands to be better for N snd S. N seems to always pass. Also can’t seem to find the redo to take back a play when a mistake play was made. Can the producer of this app respond to these issues. Other than these little issues the app is the best since bridge Baron who seems to no longer sell their app. They’ve gone to nothing but 4.99 per month. Ridiculous!
Balmerhon,
It’s as close to a real game as I can get
Downloaded this app during the height of the pandemic and soon bought it to stop the ads. I hadn’t played bridge in years so it took a while to refresh and learn some of the newer conventions. Hints is a big help and so is touching any bid and seeing an explanation for what it means. That is very helpful! I am surprised how much I win at this game and wonder sometimes if it is allowing that. I have spent many hours playing bridge on this app and am so happy to have it.

Bridge V+
I have been charged $6.99 for accidentally subscribing to it . It was free until now and all of a sudden it billed me $6.99 because it offered some sort of upgrade to the free Bridge app that I had installed in my phone - I asked for a refund in my ITunes account as soon as I received the charge but the company refused to refund it to me. I don’t agree with this charge especially after I realized my mistake I haven’t used it at all !
suzee mac,
Unclear
I like the app. I just downloaded it a couple of weeks ago. I just spent 6.99 to I thought get rid of ads. But it didn’t get rid of them. What did I spend 6.99 on? I hav,e no idea. It is not very clear. I want my money back and you can have back whatever I bought.
bean o' the pole,
Great game app; Loads of Options
I thoroughly enjoy this game and the way it supports learning. For instance, you have the opportunity to rebid and play a hand over. It also provides information on the meaning of a bid and let’s you choose card and suit order. It is the most flexible of the game apps.
