Anonymous soup,
Solid, simple app
I like this app a lot so far (only had it for a few days). It's small, simple, and does what it says it does. The calendar, notifications, Home Screen widget, and confetti are my favorite features. Yes, it's true that the free features are probably enough for most people, but if this app has given you $5 worth of value, I'd encourage you to pay for the premium features. Solid apps like this don't write themselves, and it seems like the developer is pretty responsive to comments too.

With that being said, the one feature that I'd request is a Lock Screen widget. I use Lock Screen widgets with my sleep focus to make sure I don't skip things like medication before I go to bed. Just a small 1x1 indicator of how many times I've brushed today would be nice (like a mini version of the current Home Screen widget).

Thank you!
Hayley.Bby,
Don't pay for the full version
This app is helpful but there's no point in paying for the full version. I paid for it thinking I could adjust the "Routine" settings to different time increments (20 seconds for 6 sections of the mouth as opposed to 15 for 8 sections) and it was definitely not that. It's literally only to the change the order of what part of your mouth you brush first. Which isn't even helpful at all since I don't look at the app, even on my watch, while I'm brushing. I had a previous toothbrush app on a different smart watch that had 20 second intervals with a graphic that showed the left & front & right sides of the top and bottom while it cycled through, kept track of the "health" of your toothbrush head as you used it, and kept track of how many times you brushed in a day. 15 seconds is just too many sections for us with small mouths so it would be awesome to be able to adjust that. If that were an option in the paid version, this would get 5 stars.
XxDBugBoyxX,
Great But more Achievements maybe?
Hey! This is a really great application, it reminds you to brush your teeth and evenly tells you how. It has some info on brushing teeth, and you can get achievements. As far as I know, there are only four achievements, and I think it would be cool to have more. And this isn’t necessary, but it would be really cool to have a leaderboard! It could have the longest current/lifetime streak, and most times brushed (using the app) over lifetime. Just a recommendation, but it would be really cool!

Note: As far as I have seen, the developer of this app is very responsive, which is something not every developer does. Thanks for making this app, it gives me the motivation and reminds me to brush my teeth. I would recommend this app.

Edit: The developer responded in 10 days! Excellent customer service. 😄
Jill Simons,
Love the sounds! Can I change the pattern?
After my boys visited the dentist this morning and learned that they are not doing a good enough job brushing, especially the front teeth, I decided to deploy some tech. We. just tried the app tonight and love how aesthetically pleasing it is to look at. Very simple clean design We especially loved the sounds. So soothing, especially good for bedtime.

The downside is that the pattern of brushing does not focus on the front teeth—which we need the most help with. We are wondering if there is a way to modify the pattern of brushing? Some other apps divide the teeth onto more zones, giving the front teeth their own zone rather than including them with the molars
S.rose77,
Living with depression this has helped me
As someone who struggles with severe depression. It is HARD to garner the Will to take care of yourself. People don’t realize things like brushing your teeth is such a hard activity when your brain is just telling you “what’s the point”. I know this app is meant for children but as an adult who has depression this app has helped me so much in hygiene routine. This app gives me satisfaction after I’m done brushing my teeth and I hear the jingle. Living with mental illness is a struggle and I’m glad this app has helped me motivate myself to take Better care of my health.

Please download this app if you struggle with hygiene upkeep. It has helped me so much.

Best Brushing Practices
I was concerned I may be over brushing in some areas while neglecting others. This completely free app ensures systematic & equal brushing of all TWELVE quadrants. Are you brushing all 12 equally? If not, you know what you need at this point! I also like it links the data into the iOS health app. It tracks toothbrush replacements as well.

Obviously I’m a fan. However, the recent change to the color scheme of white and faint blue is nearly impossible to see from a step or more away. Must be right over the phone to see it. It would be nice to revert back or have a color choice option. Shalom all!
megancarrell,
Mixed feelings - don’t buy Premium.
Used the app for the first time today and really liked how simple it was!

But then I couldn’t figure out how to log my first brushing for the day. I purchased the Premium version thinking that would make it so I could log what time (morning/night at the very least) but it only puts dots, with a max of 2 dots (I would like to brush after every meal, so 3 or more) and you can’t edit them if you’ve entered them wrong. So now I have two dots incorrectly entered AND have paid $2 for a service I didn’t need after all. Ugh.

Edit: if the app is free then there shouldn’t be the option to get charged? I just had a $2.13 charge go through the Apple Store. It’s not a big enough deal, like it’s just two bucks, but I think the app should be updated to remove that option then.
Nerdy_squirt92,
It’s perfect!
This is really the best way to brush your teeth for the proper amount of time and be sure you do so evenly on all your teeth. The division of your mouth makes sense and the timer with dings between each portion really makes this app work for me the way I want. Everything I want and nothing I don’t.

I rated this app earlier this year and I still really like it. I use it every day. Just to add the cherry on top and make me increase my rating is that the developers are responsive! They read the reviews and make user suggested updates, so what more can you ask for?

Thank you for this app and for taking user feedback into consideration. Keep up the great work!
icebob99,
Still a great app
I use this app twice a day without fail, and it’s really helped me improve my tooth brushing habits. And I’m really grateful for the setting to adjust the volume!

A couple suggestions: dark mode and haptics for every 15 seconds of brushing. Rationale: I brush my teeth at night and I don’t like to look at my painfully white screen too late. Haptics mean I don’t have to look at it as often to keep track of the time, and dark mode minimizes the impact when I do take a glance.

Edit: thanks for implementing my suggestions!! I love the Apple Watch app. A couple things: whenever I lower my wrist, the time appears over the app and the timer doesn’t seem to keep going. Is there a way to keep the app displayed on the screen for two min? Or keep the timer going if it’s blurred out by the time? Also, when I finish, the green checkmark in the blue circle persists indefinitely. Is there a way to set it back to its blue play button after closing and opening the watch app?

Thanks for all the great work!!!!!!

Incredible App, And…
This app really helps me organize my life a little more, reminding me to brush twice a day (and as someone who struggles with that, it’s incredibly helpful). The sounds are great, the UI is clean and bug-free; it’s the best tooth-brushing app I’ve used (and, I’ve tried many.
One thing I would ask the dev(s), though, is if there could be an optional transition period in between things like brushing and tooth flossing and mouthwash, instead of moving from one to the next without a break. Other than that, keep up the great work!
