SujanR,
A must have app. Especially for freshman and transfers
This app has everything that needs to be known about Mississippi State University. The early days of campus will be easier if you’re a transfer or freshman since it has directions and information of all the buildings and other facilities around campus. Along with that students can keep up with the things that is going inside MSU as the app has all the list of events and important academic dates with user friendly interface. If you’re a sports person, you can keep track of all the sports events happening inside campus and also buy game tickets from the links in the app. Other good part is that you can also log in into your msstate account inside the app which makes the experience even better. I recommend this app to everyone attending MSU.
Hailey Hodum,
An Absolute Must for New Students
Every student needs to download this app immediately. This app allows easy access to maps, directions, hours of facilities, bus routes, and much more. The new update is a lot more user friendly than the past. You can easily access your Banner Dashboard by logging in with your NetID and Password. My favorite feature is the Rate My Professor in the main menu tab. It makes schedule building a breeze when you know exactly who to take. This app is definitely worth the tap to download.
XF4CTOR,
GREAT APP
This app has helped me so much from navigating through campus to finding about events coming up. Being a transfer student from a community college, I knew I would be lost when coming here because I’ve never been here before and had no idea where anything was. But that all changed with bully walk! Within the first 3 days of class I learned where just about every building is on campus and know how to get to them. I love the app and will recommend it to future bulldogs for sure!
future doctor kay,
Great but could be better
I initially got this app to navigate around campus my first year at State in Fall 2019. The app was still free at that time but I don’t mind that I paid for it because I believe that it’s worth it. Plus, it’s student made (I think that’s what I heard) so I gladly supported. My only issue is that whenever I try to get in banner, I have to sign in twice. It’s quite frustrating. Other than that, I love the features! It helps you stay in the loop of what’s going on around campus. I recommended this app to all of my friends who transferred here!
kelseylane_42,
Great app!
This app has genuinely helped me sooo much on campus so far. Between wondering how long dining halls or food options will be open, to giving me directions to walk to campus, it just gives so much information. Especially coming in as a transfer student and not really knowing anything, it has helped me get around and letting me know what was happening on campus to get me involved. I would 10/10 recommend this app, especially for freshmen or transfer students!

MUST HAVE
For the first week Bully Walk made it super easy for me to find my classes and was able to help me know where they were after the first week without the help of the app. If you ever need to know where to go all you do is type the building in the search bar and it pulls up the navigation. It made everything go smooth. It made me feel like I was at home much sooner and also made me feel much more comfortable my first week of school.
DinosaurANGGGRRRYYY!!!,
Minor issues, but very trustworthy
As a freshman, I had no idea where everything was on campus or anything that was going on. This app gave me helpful information on events, dining hours, and MSU in general. The app was laggy and, with the directions, it felt like I was taken the long way and the navigation was a little rough, but it still got me to where I needed to be, even if it was later than I hoped. Overall, I recommend this app for anyone living on campus. It was very helpful for my first days. I plan on using it throughout my college career.
Mooozle,
Sometimes checking banner is impossible
Freshman year I used this app to help me get around campus. That was fine and it worked great for me! Now that I’m a senior, I only use this app to check banner if I don’t have my computer. Almost every single time I try to access banner, the session “times out” before anything is loaded. I usually have to login four or five times before it works. It can be very frustrating if I need to look something up quickly. I don’t know if it’s also an issue with me having an employee section under banner or what, but it just drives me nuts.
I'm okay at puzzles,
Super Helpful!
I’m currently a freshman at MSU and have a hard time finding my buildings. Bullywalk helps me not only find a specific building for a class, but it also categorized the building in case you need to find a place to eat or a specific place to study. Another helpful tool is when the app announces any events happening on campus. This app has really helped me adapt to college, I would recommend using this if lost or directionally challenged.
NabicanEmpress,
Good if you want to accidentally explore campus
This app is great for getting you close to where you want to be without getting you all the way there a little over half of the time. However, it’s the only app (that I know of) that can get you around campus. It’s not so bad, even if you get hopelessly confused when it decides to lag and change course. If you need to get to a new building for something important (say, like a meeting for a research opportunity), leave much earlier than the app says it’ll take to get there. Just trust me on this one, hahaha.
