Amazing technology!,
Love the results but needs improvements
The effects are really nice and you can get some really good photos with this app but it has a lot of technical issues. After taking a photo, the Calla logo splash page appears as the app is processing the photo but I often have to quit the app since it takes forever and the splash page doesn’t go away. When I quit the app and open it again, the photo I took is not saved. This is really frustrating!!! I wish the developers would fix this.

Nice but needs improvement.
Good things first, I really like that you have the option to watch ads to get paid filters for free. I also love the effect that the filters have and you have the option to make it more or less focused. However the process of changing filters is inconvenient. I wish you could see what the filter looks like on your photo first before just taking the photo. I also wish it would indicate what filter you are using because when you have many filters you forget and the colored dot doesn’t help. I have stopped using this app as much because of how inconvenient it is so please fix this.

Great App
Im not used to writing reviews but this app deserves it.
I was looking for some film apps just to see if there was anything new since I never find an app that gives that effect I'm looking for, and after many years I found an app that convinces me.
Im really surprised on how good it works, I recommend paying the unlocked version to change the filters and upload pictures.
I feel it's easy to understand how it works and I'm glad to finally have an app that will helm me get that effect in pictures I always wanted

Ads for Film Filter
I’ve spent hours trying to get free film filters by watching the adds & after watching each ads it says that I have unlocked a free filter. However, when I go back to the main filter page, there is no unlocked filter. I believe it might be a technical issue because even after I update the app I always try this method of unlocking free filters before I purchase them. Please fix this issue

Turning 3 stars into 5 stars if you fixed it. There's still a bug and it got even worst. The logo doesn't appear properly, it only looks like the web-thingy. At first, it shows the tutorial of the app and then it crashes after. I tried to open it again but it keeps on crashing. I'll try to identify if it's my internet that has the problem. Anyway, your app is awesome i'm not going to delete it. I'll wait until a new update appears and hoping that somehow it made the problem fixed. xoxo

It's an Authentic app
It's really cool to use its authenticity can't be matched by most other analog simulation apps. I just wish they would provide you with way more film packs as the options are very slim but they are still a pretty awesome app to use on your photography. They need to give us more hands on editing options like adding more grain or blurring photos etc but I figure that stuff will come eventually.

Needs improvement
App is really great, BUT it would be 5 stars rated if it’s easier to use. It’s a little bit hard to change filters and whole that system that you must first choose filter then picture is annoying... it would be SOOO MUCH easier that you could choose directly filter on your picture and also change other filter, so you can actually see which filter fits your image the best... please change that, because this app really deserves 5 stars.

Authentic filmy look but not as user friendly
I love how this app isn’t has contrasting or intense as the HUJI app. But it’s very hard to get used to...CALLA doesn’t have clear buttons to indicate how to go back, change/add/purchase a filter. The are affiliated with different apps and multiple clicks kept taking me to the App Store to download them. I like the concept of not paying for a filter and just completing the “missions” of ad-watching but it’s very time consuming and I would rather just pay $.99 like I do for Afterlight2.

Good app, very buggy
The app takes great photos however there are a few flaws which makes it hard to use. The main bug is after taking a photo the app freezes and wont allow me to take another photo or click any button within the app until i restart it. Also there should be an option to export the photos to messages, snapchat, instagram etc instead of just allowing to save to your photo album

Love this (for real)
sometimes apps like these are lackluster and seem to only be on the app store due to the trend, but you can tell the creator of this specific camera really put in time and effort. i almost never spend money on apps, but i loved the effect of this one so much that i just had to buy it. :) looking forward to improvements!
