Capsule360 is a Versatile Time-lapse Motion Control Box which is compatible with DSLR or Mirrorless Cameras, smartphones and action cameras. It combines multiple operating modes in a single unit such as Enhanced Time-lapse Modes, 360° Product Photography and Panorama. When several Capsule360 units are working together to create motions, they do not need any cable connection at all. No more cable clutter! All units communicate with each other without a cable.
You can use Capsule360 to take time-lapse photos as well. It offers both standard and advanced time-lapse modes. The advanced modes are Bulb Ramping, Interval Ramping, Long Exposure and HDR (High Dynamic Range) time-lapse modes. These modes do not require the existence of the smartphone during the shooting. Once you have the parameters set and start the shooting, you can just use your smartphone for other purposes. Capsule360 benefits from your smartphone in every possible way, but it is also capable of doing many things by itself.

App just does not work well
I bought the capsule to use with my DSLR and iPhone and have had no luck to get either one to work. With the iPhone I try to do a video pan and for one I don’t know why you can’t slow it down more than 10. Second, when I try to do a simple video pan there’s no way to set the amount of time it should record. If I hit pause it just keeps panning. If I just close out then it literally just continues to pan until I shut the capsule off completely. So so disappointing.

Had serious problems with both devices, either using singularly for a simple panorama and especially Pan and Tilt functions.
Notified MIOPS and was told the bugs had been fixed and new software was available.
Nothing was actually done. Device noted that software was up to date.
Still having problems and no one at MIOPS seems to care.

Paring needs work
I haven’t been able to successfully pair more than one device to my iPhone. There is so much potential here but the pairing needs some overhaul. The app should also include some reset and troubleshooting guides.
