Love the Results but
Love the results of so many of my photos
Because I make my own stationary. I use photos of my own paintings & also sketch guru photos I have taken & make cards I buy from Blick catalog.
But it is not an easy App to navigate to get the photos from my gallery-have to scroll forever to find ones. Do not understand why it just does not go to photos or albums like on my iPhone. I am amazed by the transformed photos into art. I can not find my version in the App Store. Other friends want it!

Quite decent
Does a nice job with making photos look like sketches or paintings. Not a huge number of filters, but might be fine for a given purpose.
(There are other apps that do better with “painting” filters, but SketchGuru seems to have the best “pencil” filters, especially for MMO screenshots. I won’t say it’s the only app you need, but it’s a very worthy member of the photo-filter arsenal.)

SketchGuru is my go to app for creativity
I have been using SketchGuru for over 10 years now and it’s my number 1 app for creatively trying out different modes of color and textures in my photos. Both sketch options make is easy for me to print a sketch of my photo for tracing onto real media for painting and sketching. The watercolor modes add that extra pop to digital artwork too. I think the subscription price is fair, too.

Good app
It’s a good app if you need a picture done quick you basically just hit what you want it to look like from a limited selection and crop the photo then hit done that’s it but a little disappointed because this was not like how I thought it sounded like

Early on
I just got the app. Did one picture. It’s pretty cool. Only got the free version,so the pro version could be really cool?? That’s bout best I got for now. Don’t know why these apps alw ays want a review immediately after you get it? Give a person a minute to check it out! Late

Disappointing
This was a favorite for years, but I’m not seeing the point for users in the change to a subscription model. No new filters or significant features or even a decent resolution size since the added cost. I can make screenshots with larger dimensions than the export. I canceled the subscription within a few minutes. Too bad, because I still like some of the filters.

SketchGuru cannot import pictures
It used To work flawlessly and was one of my favorite apps.
Now, not sure if it’s the new iOS version or the new version of sketch guru, but I cannot load pictures into the app from my photo library just shows a blank screen even though I selected something. Can’t go back have to reboot try again same result. Would love some help to make it work again really could use it thanks

Great App!
Exactly what i was looking for. Adds complexity to boring pictures. I have found that what works for one pic doesn’t necessarily work for another so it’s like starting a project from scratch each time I use it. Great fun!

What was paid for is now a Monthly Fee
I owned the $2.99 app and access to all Effects. . . Now, after the shameless Upgrade. . . I only have access to two (2) filters. . . Disabling my previous purchase.
Instead if creating a new App and charging. . . They've messed with what i’ve already paid for. . . Who knows now what would do with a subscription service. . . Cannot recommend this Developer.

Can not use a current photo
I really liked an earlier version of this app. The current app does not allow one to pull from your current local library. It requires one to pull from
1. Albums - for me it has a couple thousand albums listed. Or
2. wants me to connect the app to a FB, Flickr ~ account. I choice only a two apps to connect to social media.
This is the first app like this which does not allow me an option to pull from a local library like ”Moments”.
I really liked an earlier version of this app. I will keep this unusable ”brick” installed, cross my fingers, and hope an update will add back the function to pull a photo from the current photo library, like Moments.
