I truly love this game.
They did it. The devs have successfully bred an RTS like StarCraft, with a MOBA like league and live PVP arena brawlers like the other game we’ve known for years. This game is more than just put down some cards and watch them clash, you have to think, am I going to start right off the bat with leveling up my tower, do I send my hero out to scout, do I focus on building my territory, or do I start harassing my opponent to show their building to take an early lead? Unlike other games in the genre, in 1 v 1 games you have access to your entire library of cards. By this I mean that you pick and choose which cards you want for the battle as it is ongoing and use your scouting ability to see through the fog of war and see what you opponent is choosing (hopefully) so you can choose a counter all while they are doing the same. Good lord this game is something special and I hope it gets the attention it deserves. Yes it isn’t perfect but if this isn’t a solid foundation, I don’t know what is. Please give this game a solid try and I’m sure you’ll love it and you’ll understand.

The game came out today and I woke up really early and couldn’t sleep then I realized I pre-ordered this a while back so I decided to play, and It’s actually pretty fun! (I was expecting a bit of story) but otherwise the gameplay is actually quite entertaining, nothing costs too much and the prices aren’t wild or anything, they don’t even push you to use money to get better rewards! I can see myself playing this from now on! <3 so happy grand-opening

Easy to pick up but requires micro transactions to win
I like the concept of the game, never played clash of clans or similar games. I’ve played Starcraft I & II back in the day-this definitely reminds me of it with the card aspect. I find it difficult to upgrade your units without having to spend real money. Like other games I think there should be an alternative option to do so with in game gold or jewels with a cool down system. This was such a great idea but if you want to keep your player base you have to make it more feasible to obtain the rare or epic units instead of having to spend real money. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this game as is due to the limited chest reward system (time to open) and difficulty of upgrading units without buying starter packs, gold and jewel. I’d rather spend my money on micro transactions on a MOBA game where I have better odds at winning based on actual skill and strategy.

Not much strategy. Fastest builder wins
I’ve played the game for a week now and it gets repetitive and boring. The concept is interesting, but it is just ok. Most of the time in the game you are just building and most of the time whoever rushes and builds the fastest wins. The person with higher tier units first wins as the lower tier units become useless in making a comeback. It just becomes too involved building that it no longer becomes fun as you’re just frantically building to spam as many units. Also the chests yield so little cards that once your card is above level 5 it will take forever to get enough cards to the next level. Units that are supposedly advantaged against certain units seem they don’t do enough damage or have enough impact.

Good game but here are important suggestions
The game is really fun and good. I’m so glad I got this game. But there is one problem. If the opponent sends in one enemy, then I have to send one enemy to defend that, but my troop will go to his side and he has to defend against that but placing another troop, and he need to defend that… you get the point. All I’m saying is that you should add a archer tower or some sort of tower that can defend against the enemies troops. This will make the game 100x better! But overall, the game is really nice.

10/10 for Concept
Phenomenal idea , that’s a given. Been playing since launch. Only thing I will comment is that it’s a card game and there will be card levels. Anyone that has played clash royale or anything similar will know that people that pay will have an advantage. But it’s part most free to play models so not complaining. I definitely recommend this game to everyone looking for an AWESOME twist on an arena battle type game !

YES, clash royal but with more control and management
I played clash royal for a long time and have to say, as I don’t like to compare games when they are similar but unique, this game is amazing. You have more control options with troops, RTS gameplay, control and management of buildings. I never leave reviews like this but I had to for this game. Diverse strategies instead of cookie cutter. Try it out.

Yes! Castle Burn is back!
This game is great, it’s not p2w as any strategy can beat another and every unit has a counter. Sure you could max cards out through purchases but game plan/game play beats card level 10 out of 10 times. Fantastic game I’m just scared to spend money like I did on castle burn and it disappeared. Don’t go away please…

Great game
I first played this game about a year ago and I remember using this one strategy for spamming kolbolds and because of it I won every match but I came back a few days ago and the game is a lot better balanced, this game is a little bit like clash royale but is also it’s own kind of style

Good strategy ruined by pay to win
Very cool gameplay mechanics like scouting, economy, and unit countering are heavily downplayed by pay to win mechanics. Not only are individual cards/units stronger, but heroes and your base are also stronger as your cards get better. A base difference of even 1 is a very large advantage.
If you enjoy strategy and outplaying your opponents, stay away. Higher rank matches become an endless stream of disadvantaged match ups. Only reasons this isn’t one star is for a cool, albeit wasted, concept.
