To obtain a Commerical Driver's License (CDL) requires the driver to first obtain a learner's permit by passing the written driving test. I used the app provided by my state dot (Iowa), paid their premium fee and studied like crazy, getting all correct many times on all the practices tests and covering all material, yet when I took the exam there were many many questions I was never presented in the prep.
This app however seemed to cover all of them, after trying this resource I passed on the next attempt.
The feature to flag question that you need to review and present them on their own is a great feature. I failed twice before this app and nailed it after using this tool once…and aside from some ads, it was free.
My only complaint was a few questions that included fractions in the answers were presented in time and date formula which does not make sense. It was easy to provide feedback on those Ana I hope they get updated soon.

Hazmat & Tankers!!!
I am preparing for the Hazmat & Tankers endorsements. I have tried several apps. This one is the most thorough & helpful with the ability to “star” a question. This feature helped me correct questions I kept getting wrong. I also appreciate the info below the answers that explain the topic whether or not I get question right or wrong. Most apps only give info when you get it wrong. Having the info available, and reading through it, helped me to steadily increase scores.

This has been helpful, worked for me. Spent about 5 hours the day before my test on this app. I just did all the test in the sections I’d be testing on, I only took all the general knowledge tests once and took the passenger ones two or three times and air brakes a few times. I only miss a few questions and passed my first time taking the DMV test. All of the questions on the DMV test I seen on this app, some kinda worded a lil different though. Good luck to you future drivers and be safe out there.

Study
You can study it through the app for free & memories the answers pay $15 or $20 at the DMV if you pass you'll save yourself $5,000 or $6500 because that's how much it costs to go to the diesel driving academy school & just because you go to school it's not guaranteed you will pass because when the test is sitting in front of you, you're on your own. So either way, you still have to apply yourself..........either way.

This is a great app to use to study for your CDL. I like how the app gives explanations on each question no matter if you get the answer right or wrong. The app is also very easy to use, you are given a lot of different questions and the BEST PART, every question and answer in the app is exactly the same at the dmv (I’m speaking for Illinois). I HIGHLY SUGGEST using this app for studying. I referred it to ALOT of people and they also loved it. I’ve used it’s for every written test and I passed every test. Thanks to this app.

Good app
For a free app these are great questions with an easy interface that works and challenges you. They could look at some other DMV apps or CDL ones to see how they can make for more efficient study guides not information wise but interface wise. Such as taking a test again with only the wrong answers etc. To be fair you could just Star the ones you get wrong but I’m just giving a constructive review. I appreciate this app and would recommend it

Great app
I like this app it’s helping me get my CDL A and a lot of problems have been fixed with it. It does need a little more work because I have notice in the general knowledge test 2 like three or four questions are repeated and it would be great to change the top score to the score of the test so it don’t read 100 of you passed it once and missed some questions and the next attempt since you can take the test as many times as you want.

Great CDL learning app
What I like about this app is that you can study the correct answer without having to take an exam and be guessing, it also has the option to test, and each answer gives you an explanation at the bottom educating you with a little more information regarding the answer

This app is by far the best app there is for learning and training to be a truck driver. With the information that it gives for each question that is asked it is very well informative. By being a trainer in a major trucking industry I have always referred this app to many men and women that want to get in this industry.
