We have redesigned the entire "My Purchases" section and hope you like it! What has changed?
- For each title you can now save a purchase price and the previous price
- The overview of "My Purchases" has been changed to a new tile view
- We replaced the "Settings" section with "More" and cleaned it up a bit. The personal lists can now be found at the top.
Note: The prices for already existing purchases were determined automatically, it is possible that this is not 100% correct, so it is best to check again manually!

In the last update, we changed the destination from iTunes to Apple TV when you click on a price. This has caused some discussion, and we understand that many of you do not like it. However, as we previously mentioned, we had no other choice but to make the shift. If you are having trouble purchasing an item because it is part of a subscription, you can scroll down in the Apple TV app and purchase it there.
Many of you have complained about the lack of access to iTunes reviews. We are trying to retrieve them and display them within CheapCharts. If you have any other ideas or feedback, please contact us through the "Write Us" form in the Settings section or send us an email at [email protected].

If you ever buy anything from iTunes, then you need this app
I basically live on the road. So I rely heavily on downloadable content vs streaming content. I started building an iTunes library a couple of years ago. I wish I had known about this app then. It has already saved me a bunch of money just by building a wishlist and waiting for things to go on sale. The pricing history is one of the best features because it gives a better idea of when to purchase an item. Say if a movie is $12 but goes on sale for $8 but frequently goes in sale for $5, then I’m gonna hold out until I hit it for that $5. Yeah I know I’m cheap but that’s kinda the point.
While this is a fantastic app already, if I had one request it would be to be able to set a price and get an alert when a particular title drops below your price threshold.

Update: the interface is getting worse. There is no rhyme or reason to the grid shifting unpredictability between 3 columns and 4 columns. Then, you are constantly missing half of a column on the right hand edge. Very sloppy developers, no user testing, obviously. On iOS, there are two different menus to switch between movies, TV, books, music, etc. This is needlessly complicated. This app is useful in that it provides information that the iTunes Store should really provide much more readily. Unfortunately, the app suffers from a fixed, non-customizable display with only four titles shown per screen on Apple TV, which is way too few. Also, the scrolling on this app is not well calibrated using the remote, for some reason. This makes navigation very difficult and frustrating.

This app is PERFECT! I only wish I had found it sooner than I did! Anyone who spends A LOT of $ on iTunes needs this app...even if you don’t it is perfect for letting you know when something you do want to buy is on sale & it will tell you the price history of the movie/show/song/book as well...it’s AMAZING! It will show you movies/shows that aren’t on the main page too & I would’ve know. they were on sale if it wasn’t for this app! If I could give this app 10 ⭐️ I would💯You can add your wish list to this app as well or make your own for this app! You can also mark your purchases so you know what you have already as well. Great app but have a question...
I love this app. Since I have switched from Blu-Ray to digital, I wanted something to keep track of discounts and deals on iTunes movies. It is phenomenal. I can add products to a wish list that allows me to track when they change prices. This saves a lot of time over my old method - opening the iTunes Store each day, scouring the program for deals.
One question, though. My wish list defaults to showing the prices for the SD version of movies and I can’t seem to change it. I have to select a movie and then click “HD” to see its price (which is almost always significantly higher). Is there any way to make HD the default?

Cheap Charts
Cheap Charts is a dream come true application for those invested in purchasing their content from iTunes whether it be films, television, music, books and/or audiobooks. The app has a search filter for just about any criteria that can be used to narrow down content whether it be what’s new, 4K quality, bundle collections, IMDB Top 250 highest rated and more. Users can simple add items to their wishlist and set notifications for when the price drops. The app goes beyond the norm and even lets users create custom price alerts tailored to actors, actresses, etc. The app even provides a blog news feed so users can use it to see the latest promoted deals and tips on how to use the app best. For anyone who uses iTunes as their main content platform Cheap Charts is a necessary download.

This app will probably be responsible for my future divorce...
If I don't stop browsing every morning noon and night, picking up a movie here, a book there (all for a steal mind you, but still!). It's reminded me of movies I've loved but long forgotten about (on sale NOW, too! They saw me coming...)
Honest though, if you want a great place to find movies at inexpensive prices (if it's regular price now, wait a few days...it'll come down) then this is your ticket. Love the way it's laid out, too, very organized, and pricing is accurate. I also appreciate how it takes my purchases into account when suggesting other buys, like books or music.

Thanks for the update/bug fix! Here is my updated review.
Feature Request: Love the large high res album covers. Any chance of adding artist and album/song title as text underneath or to the side? For musicians who don't actual put their name or name of the album on the cover.
This Bug Was Fixed: This was in settings but didn't work. Now you can set your Home Page and it works.
I use the app for Music Albums and Single to see when they are on sale on iTunes. But unfortunately with the last app update it keeps defaulting back to Movies every, single, time you open the app. Very annoying when 99.9% of the time your not interested in Movies. And you have to keep changing it back to Music. Used to default back to what you opened last which is what I would like.

This app saves you time and money
If you ever buy or rent apps or media, this app will save you time and money. Not only can you see what the price of an item has been across time, you can request to be notified when a desired item reaches a price point you specify.
Unlike most apps I have encountered, it is free, ad-free, and has a good privacy policy. (It makes its money when you purchase items through the app.)
I had thought this was an excellent app when I first downloaded it, but with each update, the developers manage to make it even better. Kudos to them.

Saves me a lot of money and time
If you’re the kind of person that likes expanding your iTunes library at a cheap price, this app is great! Put movies on your wishlist that you are interested in and get notifications when the price decreases. You can check the price history to see where the price has bottomed out in the past to ensure you are getting the best price. You can also keep your eye on the list of movies that are being discounted daily to find new additional titles to add to your library. I love this app and highly recommend it.

Hate the switch from iTunes to Apple TV

I appreciate the response, but in the iOS app, there are no iTunes reviews (just some outside reviews occasionally that are not connected to iTunes reviews).
Also, you have the Rotten Tomatoes symbol in your app with the percentage, but I can’t click on it to go to their web site. iTunes allows me to do that.
Can’t you create clickable links to Rotten Tomatoes and/or iTunes in the app page? We can still PURCHASE on the Apple TV app, but it would be nice to have some links on the product pages.
I did up it one star for the kind response.
