CheckRidePrep™ Private Pilot Ground School
Our Private Pilot Ground School will guide and teach you more than just passing the test. Our in-depth and structured courses will explain the concepts behind the knowledge, and prepare you with confidence for the FAA written exam.
COURSE OBJECTIVE: By the conclusion of this course, students will be given the information required to take and pass the FAA Written Knowledge Exam. Students will also have a strong understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to become a safe and competent pilot and to help prepare them for the FAA Oral Exam.
There are no prerequisites for this course.

-People Interested in Aviation
FAA Private Pilot Endorsement
In order for students to obtain a signed endorsement to take the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam, students must attend all sessions and take a final exam. The exam will consist of 60 questions that must be passed with an 80% or better.
FAA WINGS Credits
For currently licensed pilots you have the ability to earn up to 3 WINGS credits for this course. We are offering a online Private Pilot Course to anyone with an internet connection. The course is taught by FAA Certified Flight and Ground Instructors. At the conclusion of the course students will have the ability to earn their FAA Private Pilot Written Endorsement and currently licensed pilots can earn WINGS credits.
INCLUDES: 42 hours of HD quality training videos, practice quizzes, with more on the way!
After successful course completion, you’ll earn an FAA knowledge test endorsement and FAA WINGS credit.

FAA Written Test Endorsement
One of the prerequisites for students to obtain an Instrument Pilot License is they must take an FAA written exam at an approved testing center.
One of the goals of our class is to help you prepare for that written exam through our class lectures. In order for students to obtain an signed endorsement FAR 61.65(b)(1-10) to take the FAA Instrument Written Exam, students must attend all sessions and take a final exam. The exam will consist of 60 questions that must be passed with an 80% or better.

Please fix iPad rotation
Being locked into portrait view on iPad with so many cases built for landscape makes this a non-starter. Hope this gets fixed soon as I’m looking forward to using the subscription.

5 Star Training, app needs polishing
After spending a couple hundred dollars on Sportys pilot training and getting nowhere, this app/program got me over the finish line with a high score on my written. The training is great and thorough.
The app on the other hand, could use some work. It can be clunky to pickup where you left off and navigation to find your program is a bit awkward. Videos have an annoying lead-in splash screen and music that is much louder than the audio which leaves you scrambling to turn it down and back up when he begins speaking.
Maybe it’s only an annoyance for me and won’t bother others. But those things are the only things keeping it from being a 5 star.

Scam
Started out great. Free private pilot school was good. Problems started when trying to get my endorsement to take the written emailed. Figured that out after a couple weeks of back and forth. Then a few months ago I went back to freshen up on things and start the next course and my account and all my progress is gone. The app no longer works. The website is horrible. I paid for lifetime access and now I have nothing. Going to have to invest more money in another program. Don’t waste your time or your money. Totally a scam. Will take your money and run.

This company is a scam. They lure you in with the premise of free ground school then early in the process will sell you on a promotion that you should buy “now” for life time access to the material.
It sounded reasonable in order to not be constrained to the tight free course timeline. A few months later, all my progress is lost, old links don’t work, the app doesn’t remember me or what I paid for and they will not respond to any support tickets.
RUN and subscribe to a more reputable ground school. This here is a joke.

Excellent the best private pilot ground school there is.
Very in-depth classes. Likable teacher who goes over all materials, makes everything interesting. Provides lots of helpful links and homework. Pool of many questions for FAA tests… If you’re looking to become a private pilot look no further.

Don’t waste your money
Used this for private pilot and it was great. Started my instrument and completed ground school then somehow my whole account was deleted and even though I sent my receipt of purchase of the lifetime course there’s nothing they can do to help. My certificates are gone as well. Thankful I took screen shots but those mean nothing to their “support” either. Go with Kings school. Easier to use and better support.

App keeps crashing
Great app. Love using it to study, but for some reason it crashes every time I try and open it. Please help

I have been trying to contact them for 3 weeks!!! It keeps crashing and nothing works! When I have been able to log in via the website it erased all my progress.

App Crashes Upon Launch
I’ve downloaded the app many times so I can listen to my courses on-the-go. However, when I launch the app it automatically asks me to restart it every time. This app simply doesn’t work unfortunately.
