Chess HD ∙ Hack 2.10 + Redeem Codes

I consider myself I great chess player, and Ive been doing it since preschool. I love this game. The best chess player at my school became the greatest, and taught himself how to play by using this! I am very happy to have such a wonderful, simple app that gives you a classic chess game.
Suggestions: I would like to give a few suggestions. I was wondering if there could be a way to input rules in the game. (Touch it move it, no undo button, etc.) This is how we play in tournaments. I also would like to recommend to actually add tournament mode with tournament style rules. You could have five rounds, and a bunch of divisions like k-1, k-3, k-5, and k-12. This would help more chess players to practice for tournaments and just spend their time.
Like I said before, I am super pleased with this app. As a member of the school chess team, and one of the top ten players in my grade, I give this the stamp of approval. Thanks for making this excellent game!

As one who is chess challenged and has made very little progress in the past several decades, this is a great learning tool. No need to embarrass myself in front of others or waste their time trying to teach me. Sometimes I think that I am improving and could take on a 9 or 10 year old instead of battling the 8 and under crowd.

The tune in the background is very relaxing and if it starts to bother you then just mute it. Love the "undo" button when a stupid mistake is made. The difficulty slide is nice to have if you keep losing and need to build the ego again. Game seems very realistic. About only improvement needed would be to depict it in 3D instead of flat.

I will never be good but at least nobody will know it and I can enjoy the game in my own way.

I Play tournament chess at about 1500 level and I love this app!
Especially well done are the graphics. It looks like a real board. Chess master for example has dozens of sets and they are all but one too distracting to play with. This app is far better! Wonderful adjustment for playing strength. The only thing I think it could use is a draw offer. It does not seem to recognize draw by insufficient material and we must play on to get the 50 move rule for a draw, it also has the disconcerting flaw of not recognizing the draw by repetition rule correctly. The same position must appear three times in a row with the same player to move and this app often claims a draw when it does has not fulfilled the requirements, but it is my favorite app!

Love the bronze and silver designing on the chess pieces and that it is not all black and white like other chess games. Perhaps best of all is that it is a free game, with little or no ads for me. I love how you can adjust the difficulty as little, or as much as you want.

My only problem is that you should be able to undo draws so that they won't become draws, or else you could do a very long game and have it all be for nothing. still give it 5 stars compared to all other chess games out there.

Great for beginners playing on the levels below halfway difficulty, but playing the computer above halfway causes it to make illegal moves like moving into check, not allowing you to move when there are no reasons for you not to, reappearing and disappearing pieces, and suddenly ending the game saying the computer has put you in checkmate when I wasn't even in check! I took a piece and it reappeared later in the game out of nowhere! I moved my queen and it was safe, yet disappeared and none of the computer's pieces even moved! One time, I moved my bishop, which was covered by the queen, next to the king and the computer's king captured it! The king moved into check! That is never supposed to happen! I love the app for playing with others, but not for training on the computer. Please fix!

I upgraded to the paid one and hated the way it takes so long to move. So I'm back playing the free one! It's excellent. I turn off the sound and cover the more distracting ads, and haven't encountered any issues. Kind of wish it would let us undo draws and checkmates! :-)
I'm happy with it.

My download seems always to seize up after I've moved, with the computer taking a while to function. This doesn't happen in two player. Also, it might be a petty gripe, but I really dislike how when you've beaten the computer, the game declares it a draw by stalemate. When the computer beats you and puts your king in check, it comes up as a defeat. When you beat it though, the game can't even give you the satisfaction of telling you that you've won. I mean come on, checked the king in three moves, and they call that a stalemate?

I like this app a lot, but when it is a draw because of stalemate, it ruins the whole app. Today alone, I was literally ONE MOVE away from check mating the Cpu and winning, but it forced ended the game due to stalemate. Again, the Cpu only had one piece, which was the king, and I had several. It forced ended the game due to stalemate. This is some cheat tactic for when I'm about to win, the Cpu ends the game and calls it stalemate, basically. Please remove this, I can't even have a fair chess match at all, without the Cpu flipping the table and calling it a draw.

I thoroughly enjoy your Chess app and have been playing it for several years. I love the ability to adjust the difficulty level and have found a level that challenges me, but allows me to win from time to time. Great app !

Fine for wasting time now and then, but it gets really annoying when the game is declared a draw when you have checkmate. Or the flip side of that, when you have been checkmated but the game continues on while denying you every move because all would result in the capture of the king. Seems like stupid programming oversight that wouldn't be hard to fix. If that ever happens I'll change my review title from stupid to smart. Is Optimus up for the challenge?
