Amazing that’s all

I’ve been looking for an app like this so I can play with my future wife while one of us it at work throughout the day. And any others don’t notify me when she makes a move or constant adds

I would pay for this app if I had to twenty stars can’t say enough and it’s right in my messages with her too

Fun, get on when ever

I love how you can just get on and play any match with someone on your messages or use the board on the phone. Something I think that should be added would be a mode where you can have infinite turns. Other than that I would agree that this is one of the best chess apps online. I have already shared it with some of my friends already.

Simple is best

Overall, I really enjoy this game and the ability to play through iMessage. The only issue I have is that landscape mode is unusable. If there was one complaint I have, that would be it. Everything else is perfect - sometimes simple is best.

Great to play with friends from far away

If you have really wanted to play chess with a buddy this is the app for you,although if you’re looking to play a super competitive game this is not the app for you. You can easily get destracted because you have to text your partner every time and weather you’re on phone or tablet it’s easy to get destracted. Overall though I think it’s a great app and you should deffinitely give it a try.

Doesn’t hurt to try

And it was worth it. I wanted to have a quick match with someone that said he could beat me and this was the fastest way to play each other.

Also, no ad popups or annoying upgrade messages.

We’re still in play. I’ll let you know if I win.

Great app!!

If it wasn’t for this app a lot of great games would have never been played. With life as fast paced as it is, this is a great way to play a loved one and friends. We have two kids and don’t ever get to play anymore, except for on this app.

I love being able to analyze games and email the reports.

It does the thing

I’ve been using this app for 3 years. I have tried a few other options for iMessage Chess and ChessMe has the best UX and features by far.

4 stars because the UI is a bit glitchy at times (changing piece styles is very fiddly for example) and because I would like an infinite time mode for the 2-player board.

I recommend this app!

Connected

I really enjoyed this format. I can easily connect with my friends and play chess. One of my sons really likes to play chess, and I truck drive, so, I can play him multiple games and keep his skill up and also keep our relationship strong.

Almost perfect

Sometimes I have to leave the chat session to the main chat selection and then go back to it so that I can get the game to respond but that’s not the biggest problem in the world.

I’d also like an option to slowdown playback when watching replays of the game.

Overall this app is amazing and it’s done a lot to get me back into chess.

Chess for beginner to advanced

I am a beginner who wants to get better! I love this! Level 1 is easy but they have up to 7 levels that get incrementally harder each level. I am learning a lot about my technique at level 2. Here is to learning more chess!!!! :).
