This release of the app has a bizarre but critical bug (sorry for that) that can be easily avoided: just press on "flower" icon (top left button on keyboard) and that's it. Bug fix release will be published next week.

Next big release (5.0) will be published in June and will contain contextual dictionary, business writing style and other new features.
In this binary (4.6.9) we solved some iOS 8.3 compatibility issues.
Next release (4.7) is already waiting to be reviewed by Apple. In 4.7 we've made a number of enhancements to user experience.
And now - first jump into the Adriatic sea this year (still cold) ... :)

I'm in love with this app
It hits the spot between my geeky interest in computer AI and storytelling. I've only mainly used it for my niche in a niche hobby (solo roleplaying), but now I have the urge to write stories with the creative keyboard.
Allowing the creative keyboard to be used in other apps is a brilliant idea. The only thing it's really missing is the ability to import your own texts, which Word Palette does. I would love to be able to import customized data sets exclusively based on Lovecraft, for example.

Useful, Easy and Rewarding
This allows for creativity to live in a constant state of inspiration. It places new words, ideas and thoughts in a random manor and at the same time gives the tools to effortlessly form lyrics, poetry and more with a few taps. Now this isn't a magic button. You'll still need to bring your own skills to the table, though through it you'll be exposed to new ways of writing than you may be used to. It's incredibly useful for breaking out of a box and freeing your mind to try many new styles and concepts at once, giving a more rewarding result at the end of the writing process. Having purchased the in-app content, as I use them specifically for lyric writing, I have to say I'm very pleased. Two thumbs up. 👍🏻👍🏻

Disappointing! Even After Buying the Add-Ons STILL Cannot Access the Features
I got this app because I was struggling with writer's block and I thought it could help me get the creative juices flowing.
Unfortunately, after I downloaded this app, first I couldn't get the keyboard to activate. In the instructions it says to go to the iPad (or iPhone) settings menu, then tap the "General" section, and next the "Keyboard" section, and then go to "Add Keyboards" and add the CreativeWriter keyboard listed in the Third-Party keyboard section.
But the problem is that when I do that, there IS no CreativeWriter keyboard listed in the Third-Party Keyboards section, because there IS no Third-Party Keyboard section, and the only keyboards listed are the different language based keyboards!
Now I thought maybe the keyboard didn't work/activate because I had not bought any of the add-ons yet, so I got the Writer's Pack add-on and the Dictionary Pro add-on and the Power mode add-on.
But that didn't help and I still cannot activate the keyboard or access the add-ons I bought. I tried contacting the app developer, to find out what to do, and I sent an email on Tuesday and its Friday now, and I still haven't heard back. I contacted Apple to try to get a refund on the add-on purchases, but they give me the run-around saying I need to contact the app developer!
Wish I'd never heard of this app. A total disappointment!!!!!

Now I have downloaded it again, purchased the additional language packs, and tried it once more: and although the interface improved and there are like categories and stuff, but the verbal engine still isn’t quite right.
Instead freeing me for creativity and empowering me with an arsenal of new words, I feel like this app keeps trying to “put words in my mouth” and confuse me into saying things that I don’t mean.
Ultimately, it’s logic is based on texts written by other authors, so it’s bound to draw its inspiration from them, not *you*. And unless we can teach a machine to read our minds, I don’t know if this challenge can be over come.
Instead freeing me for creativity and empowering me with an arsenal of new words, I feel like this app keeps trying to “put words in my mouth” and confuse me into saying things that I don’t mean.

I have been using your app for years and lost all my stuff once already. Now you did a new update and I have spent the last year writing a book I was contracted to write. The other day I opened the app and everything was gone except what I wrote that day and the week before! Where is all my writings??? I need them back. It says that for free I am limited to what I can see but only 3 items. I had way more before. I can’t see access to update to advance on app page. I need all my writings back desperately. I have written to you directly and gotten no response in over a week. I need help and I need my writings back. How do I do that? How can they just disappear? Was great for a while, until....
For a long time, this app was amazing! I loved writing with it and it helped me get my thoughts into a different place than my brain. However, it was fun while it lasted. I was working very hard on a story, but I shut the app so I could look up a word to use it correctly (I didn’t have the Dictionary extension on the app). However, when I came back, the story I had been working on for AN ENTIRE MONTH completely disappeared and I couldn’t get it back! I was working so hard on it and I was going to show it to people after I had finished but now that dream is completely crushed. Total waste of my time :( >:(

Too bad the developer “upgraded”
This was a great fun app a year or so ago, before they changed the UI. Then, there was an amusing base setup where I could predictively fun little stories. I took some time off, and now my I barely have any words to use before I have to pay.
I’ve read some other developer responses, and I think the “pay me” rhetoric is terrible. Let me do some writing with it - real, full writing with a base of words I can get into - and I’ll likely pay you for more. As it stands, I feel like I get less now from this app for free than the skin I can see for free in a strip club.

My favorite app
First of all, I want to thank the team that came up with this. I've been a user of this app for years now, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Near the beginning, the bugs got infuriating, but even if I deleted the app I always came back. I couldn't find anything else like this, so I waited it out. I'm glad I did, because it only got better and I thank you for that!

Love this app
I’m a poet and novelist, and I no longer have to pull out the heavy dictionaries or fiddle with other apps to browse through all the words in some painstaking manner. They are all easily available here with just a flick of the fingers.
What blew me away even more was that I asked the developer to fix something for me that was intensely distracting because of my particular state (high-functioning Asperger’s).
Not only did I get a reply in a few hours, but the developer fixed it and it was online within two days of that for download. Wow. That’s a developer who knows how to take care of the customers.
If you love words and write professionally or otherwise, this app and the developer are highly recommended.
