Marybuchholz,
Great app
App is awesome, and is great when tracking work outs!
The feature where you can add a class to your calendar in your phone is great. Not only does it remind you of classes but locations but time as well, and the iPhone allows you to be able to click on the location and find in a map.
I love making challenges and being able to see my progress.
Eli522,
Some glitches
Overall this app has the information that I need, but there are some important glitches that need fixing.
1. When in the “find a class” section and you hit “Back”, it takes you back 2x (i.e. I selected an instructor and then a specific class of theirs and then hit “Back” it takes me back to the instructor list instead of the instructor I already clicked on’s list).
2. When you are viewing a class and click “add to calendar” it adds the class to my iCal, but missing some important details, such as the CAC location of the class. Studio 2 doesn’t help if I don’t know if I’m going to Bucktown or West Loop.

I assume these are easy fixes to an otherwise great app!
Karaleemac,
It's only ok
When I joined the gym I was so excited about the app because it lets me add classes to my calendar and it let me search all the gyms for classes. As an all access member this was so helpful to plan my workouts near home at one gym and near work at another. This new app technically lets me do this with 2 major flaws...

1. when you add a class to your calendar, it DOES NOT add what location the class is. How useless is that? Might as well forget about trying a new class or switching up my schedule. Now I get a calendar alert about yoga is at 6pm but not where the class is?

2. It makes me select a home gym that the app defaults to. I work and live in different neighborhoods. Some days I have meetings near a different gym. I hate the step of having to always maneuver out of my default gym to get to the one I am trying to look at.

The functionality is sleek but it no longer actually helps me plan my workouts. This one just requires me to constantly open it and double check it.

Simple and fun to use
I hate admitting it but I'm a total sucker for the gamification aspect that CAC uses—earning points for workouts, etc. This app is super helpful for tracking everything in one place, seeing classes and adding them to my calendar with a click, syncing with MFP etc. I like the ability to set goals as well.
Danielle Ramirez,
It works!
I hardly ever have problems with the app. Finding a class at my favorite location takes less than a minute. One area of feedback I’d suggest when adding a class to calendar is including the address of the location in the “location” field and the studio number in “notes.” Sometimes I jump around from CACs out of convenience and forget which class is where.
Could be better because...,
Locations
It’s a pretty good app but there is no easy way to change locations. I actually can’t remember how to do it now, but have done it before. It would be most convenient to be able to choose in the “Find a Class” page to simply have a scroll option to choose which location you want.
Also, as others have mentioned, more info on the calendar notes - which location and studio.
Fillygirl19,
Love this app
This app is really easy to use and I love the points system. It's a great motivator in tracking my workouts and checking in each time. Love the ability to see the class schedule at any time.
Dandruffy,
Could Use Some Tweaks
Good app overall but overwhelmingly designed for people who are into cardio. There is no good way to track or create challenges for other goals. For example, I like to lift heavy weights and there is no way on the app to track my progress or create challenges. Revamping the app to allow this would allow it to better serve my fitness goals.
sunny in chicago,
Good app
It’s overall a good app. I like recording my workouts and getting rewards. I wish there were more frequent challenges. I don’t like that if I record yesterday’s workout, it doesn’t register any rewards so I have to do it day of. I use it almost every day.
RosieLiu,
An app I use everyday
I love my gym and this easy to use app that it presents to us customers. I am touched by the quality of service they provide and their willingness to utilize modern technology to make the members' athletic efforts easier. Great job, CAC!
