Keeps getting better
This (and Pleco) are the two apps essential for learning how to read and write Chinese characters ....maybe one day someone will create a grammar app! I bought a lifetime membership and have been using it for 2 years. I am a slow learner with a 50 year old brain and need to review constantly. I know about 1000 words now and hope to acquire another 1000 next year and the only way to do that is repetition!

I like it.
The screen dims, after a few seconds. It does not un-dim, until it is touched. Please, add, a woman's voice for the English. Puhleeze. Edit: Please, add the option, to only play, the selected, flash-card, when pressing the play, button. And, please add, a larger, pause, between, the flash-cards, on the auto-play, feature, when the English voice, is set to, zero. Thank you.

Excellent though could use some work
Really love this app and the support team is very responsive with suggestions on improving translations. The multiple choice testing function is interesting but occasionally frustrating as the apparently randomly selected other choices are often so far afield as to make the correct choice obvious. Anyhow, love it in general and really hope the creators get enough out of it to reinvest in making it even better.

Excellent Chinese trainer
This audio text language app for Chinese has numerous settings to individualize personal likes. Plenty of translations to start for the beginner, but thus far, not for mid/higher learning. Hope to see more in the near future to include phrases, phrase forming, and maybe someday a complete Chinese school language course.

Garbage.
Audio flashcards have such potential as a learning tool- but nearly everything you'd expect with a flashcard is missing- the ability to advance the cards one at a time, the ability to HIDE information for the other side of the cards... yes, one-sided flashcards. Really??
It's a worthless realization of what is fundamentally a great concept. I can't imagine what they were thinking when they put this together.
If they put this in front of a Mandarin class, the class would all drop out.
