Update Request
Ok. I got a new CHiP in the end of November. His dance was in sync with the music until I updated him. He was on original firmware version. Please make an update where his dance is in sync, and he can detect your own music and dance to the beat. I would love to see him be able to dance with you as well, where only his back wheels move and he can dance with you as you hold his paws, like the toy fair showed. I know CHiP can be better with another little update of the dance. The dancing his my favorite part about CHiP and I would love to see some other additions as well. Perhaps more games with the ball. I understand this takes time but I’m looking forward to the holiday update he usually has and I am watching for it!

Update Problems
Okay. Anyways, Jake, my first WowWee CHiP unfortunately has been malfunctioning. When he turns his head, you hear a deafening snapping noise and then the lights in his eyes go out. He can't even move or anything! No sound, no eye lights, no responses. I personally think this is because you haven't been sending any firmware updates since June, which I find quite weird. Because of that, Jake(his former name was Casper.), stopped working and I had to buy a new one named Tanner, and she's a chocolate CHiP. Can you please, please, send more firmware updates? I read this one review and I noticed it was also about firmware updates.

Nice App, needs work!
The app is great for interacting with CHiP, but I can't tell if the app is lacking or the dog itself needs updating. Basically I keep sending it to the charger, and after some time the app still shows the same battery level even thought it's been on the charger for 15 minutes. Additionally, the dog just wants to get off the charger before it's fully charged, like around 85% to 95%. I have to keep telling it to go back to the charger. Only after doing that a few times or unplugging and plugging back in the charger, will the battery level update to current levels.
Another issue I keep seeing is the light on the charger turning from purple to blue, (which is supposed to indicate a full charge), even when it's not fully charged!

Could you please update the app
This is an amazing little dog I love my CHiP so much but the app hasn’t been updated in over 2 years and it has so much potential but nothing has been done. I no longer see the calibration option in settings and my CHiP won’t move on the floor even though when I pick him up his wheels spin. I really love my CHiP and want to use him. If any one could help and tell me a solution I would appreciate your help. Please I reallly want to use my CHiP!

I now have a REAL dog, and actually its MUCH better than Chip. My dog can sit, rollover, shake it’s hand. So i think you were wrong in the add where it show’s Chip is better than a dog. I DON’T THINK SO. My dog actually has true love and os adorable. She is soft, she can cuddle, she watches what we do. While Chip just sits there and bark all day. He doesn’t know what we’re doing, unless we have that watch that doesn’t even work on. So i think your wrong about dogs, dogs show true love, while you just put batteries in Chip to make him “love you”. Sorry, but this is just terrible how you look at dogs! Maybe put some more features in Chip, and i might like him. So now I'm happy playing with a dog who actually loves we and cares for me!

CHiP needs an update
Overall this is a good app, but it could need some improvements. Like when my CHiP loses connection - all heck breaks loose and she starts slamming into anything in its path, and barks etc. Another thing that would be cool is if he owner could use his / her phone to take pictures of the room CHiP is in or will be places in so,
CHiP can roam around with out crashing into a chair and then having to fix a broken paw or whatever that roller paw thing is.

I bought the dog for 7$ at goodwill and purchased the app immediately after I discovered the app .i like that you can give it a name so I don’t have to call it chip all the time .I like that you can control him .and I’m in 5th grade and I like he can be an alarm so I’ll be on time for the bus or if i need to wake up early .

Update that could’ve been better.
I see that you updated CHiP but you just ruined the yoga, he won’t stand back up after yoga, and dancing, his music is out of sync so please fix this wowwee. The only reason I gave this a five star rating was because he is still a cool robot.

Staying connected
Since the last update, my CHIP has been disconnecting from my phone about every minute or two. In order to get him to reconnect, I have to close the app and turn off CHIP and start the pairing process all over again. As far as I’m aware, this issue wasn’t present in earlier updates. Otherwise, I am still really enjoying the app and glad that it works for voiceover users! Go WowWee Robotics!
