A Universe I Can Get Behind
A great, well-written game with a really unique world and interesting story—none of it felt tired. Magical lawyers are such a neat concept. Loved it so much I started getting into the related books, which are also great.

Should've played sooner!
I've played almost all COGs but I put off playing this one because the idea of playing a lawyer just didn't appeal to me. That said, this was a *great* game. The writing, setting, and characters are strong. The choices you make greatly affect the game experience and the ending. Your skills are fun and interesting, and there are plenty of relationships to explore. Yes, you play a lawyer but your clients and cases are just plain cool. There is plenty of engaging drama, and the end is very climatic and satisfying. I just finished it, and I look forward to trying again - it seems like there are many different endings. I liked playing this game a lot, and as many reviewers have stated, I really hope there will be a sequel or another game set in the same world. Definitely worth your time and money, give it a try!

Would be nice if...
There would be a direct sequel to this, Vega and main character *nudge* *nudge* I love the world and surroundings of this out of all the CoG games, I couldn't have asked for a better author and a better series setting, I adored the love scenes and even though they were not the main purpose of the story, it provokes wonderful feelings nonetheless! I'd love to see more MC and Vega action when it comes to those romantic scenes, so silky smooth and suave! A side Novella would be an interesting thing to write up, or an actual full-on romance CoG game, because lets face it, there's not much of romance in 'Choice of Romance'...sorry but it wasn't that great of a romance game :^) I love a love-interest character with details and well defined personality, instead of being just there for you to pick and choose to get with :) great game!!

The best yet!
I love choice of Games and Hosted Games and this is the best of the COG's so far! Imaginative, great humour, yet it's still serious. Characters that seem to have an individual spark, not all of them are based on what sexuality you play your character, (only 1 character's gender changes with that.) The story stays interesting, I've replayed it 3 times and I'm still going back to get achievements! The writing has wonderful flow, and it feels like choices and stats matter. The last game I loved this much was Zombie exodus. Sooo, if you are debating on getting it, do it! You won't regret it. I hope to see more of this quality from COG and hopefully even more games from this writer. (I'm even considering getting his books with my Christmas money!)

Loved it, wish it continued past the end. The last choice was extremely difficult. I went with the firm because I am comfortable with my place. But still, it was a hard choice. I wish there was more, why do all good things have to end!? Still looking for sequels to your first games like choice of the dragon. Once I am home from the holidays I'll give my creativeness and imagination a try with your script program. Sorry for the long review I have had a few tonight haha

Literate, error-free prose that allows the reader some input in navigating the plot's myriad twists and turns.
A bit disappointed in the depth and number of choice offered, however. Usually, I satisfy that craving by re-playing. The huge drawback to the series for me is the absence of bookmarks or chapter save points, even. To replay is to wade through pages and pages of text which does not change much if what I desire are subtle changes in approach to maximize (or minimize) trait scoring. Lacking that, at least inform us of how much charisma or craft, or whatnot we'd need for a particular choice selection.
I'd still recommend as this story is like an economical novella that is written with skill and creativity.

I've been looking for something like this since a recent spike of childhood nostalgia set in! Having grown up reading the Choose Your Own Adventure series, I was looking for something of the like, and this truly didn't disappoint.
The thrill of the unknown was matched by the quality of penmanship, and characters and plot alike were colorfully created and well thought-out. Without ruining the plot, this tale contains adventure, science fiction, dry humor, and a pinch of a love story. One can watch...and be involved....as the story takes myriad twists and turns.
I found myself frequently dropping other tasks to return to this. A splendid return to a lost art. iOS is a great platform for these.

This is an engaging, fun read, and a cool game. It's a choose-your-own-story, with a vein of supernaturalism. Your choices affect stats which track things like your affinity with different characters, your income and debt, and your available levels of power.
If you're a fan of BioWare games, especially one who enjoys those long moments staring at the screen trying to make a big decision, you'll love this. It's made of those kinds of decisions.
If you were a fan of the demonic law firm Wolfram & Hart in TV's Joss Whedon's "Angel," you'll love this. W&H could be a competitor firm to the one you work for.
If you've actually been through law school or know someone who has, you'll love this in a sort of painful way. And might recognize some of the demons.
