Collective: LGBTQ+ friends Hack 6.1 + Redeem Codes

I have been using collective for about a month. I love it. It delivers on all of the promises that social media conglomerates lie about. The community is small, close knit, and supportive. Everyone is encouraged to share their thoughts and creativity in a healthy and aesthetically pleasing way. Users do not see follower/like counts which eliminates envy and competitiveness that typically runs rampant especially within the queer community. In short, collective is a breath of fresh air. It’s modern, sleek, and an excellent escape for queer individuals. Collective is queer owned and operated and so far there are no marketing schemes and advertisements like F***b**k or In***gr*m. Up to now, it my personal favorite app/social platform!

I joined Collective about a year ago when a friend invited me and I quickly learned it has a special charm to it that other social apps don’t. Queer art, fashion, culture, and ideas saturate this space without the pressures of likes and follows. No one is trying to sell to or influence you here either. The sense of community I feel on Collective is unmatched! It feels so safe to share whatever I’d like here.

I absolutely love everything about this app. It’s a creative space; a kind space; an inspiring space; and a space to be you. It’s not about algorithms and influencers. It’s about authenticity and connection. This is the platform to be on if you’re part of the queer community. It’s the love child of Tumblr + Pinterest with a dash of dating/making friends.

It’s a chill and relaxed platform! It’s a newer social media platform with a smaller following, but refreshing to use amidst a lot of other “noisier” social media platforms. Mostly used for posting photos, and it has a short text post feature as well that I like to use here and there. I find a lot of fashion inspo from the folks using this platform.

I’m an aesthetic queer, and have been since I was a teenage, with MySpace and tumblr those were my spaces of self expression, this app brought back the nostalgia of my inner artistic self in a space that is all queer and I couldn’t recommend it more. This app feels like a Sunday afternoon at a welcoming queer party. Imagine Pinterest met Bumble and had a baby. The feed shows you a mix of images, gifs and text (no videos, which I appreciate). No like counts, no public follower counts. Just connection with like-minded people. I even found a book club!

I love the app because I’ve been able to curate and cultivate a space that I feel freedom to express myself personally artistically and creatively uncensored and share amongst people who are like minded and looking for that same exact connectivity and space. Like the OG Instagram days but make it queer.

such a peaceful app! everyone is so kind and there is no toxicity at all, I feel very comfortable to post whatever I want and enjoy other peoples post as well! love the layout of everything and simple to use

Though still in its' earlier development, the ease of the app and design are awesome. It's mostly word of mouth meaning it's a bit cyclical but as this app grows and reaches new audiences, I see this being a top choice for the Queer babes looking for a safe space.
