This program rocks on the 3ds!
Honestly I love this program! I use it on my 3ds all the time and from my experience, using it on the 3ds is the easiest way. If you ever are going to buy the full version and have a 3ds, buy it on the 3ds because it is worth it. It's a little more money to spend but in the wnd you'll find it easier like trust me

A classic
This is a very capable painting app that's been around for a long time, so you know it's likely to stick around in the future! Plus, it has a great community of aspiring artists and the ability to play back their paintings to see exactly how they did it!

Simplicity is strength
I found this originally on nds lite. Basic and to the point. For market penetration I recommend the full version at $2.99 and going $0.99 on sale price. I use it mainly to help younglings write (ie ABC). It saves on paper. And I can always save. Awesome.

Saving Your Creations...
After your done with your painting with colors lite, you can't save it. But you can take a screen shot. A lot of people take screen shots for their reviews and what not about the iphone. It's useful here but the tool bar gets in the way. Once you upload them on to your computer just crop it off in a simple paint program. All you have to do to take a screen shot is press and hold the sleep button and then hit the home button once. You'll see a flash. Be careful, if you quickly click both buttons at the same time you will still take a screen shot but you risk accidentaly pressing the home button first and you could loose your painting. Don't forget, you can use this capture method any time on your iphone. You can even try it right now. Hope this helps!

Better than expected!
This app is very usefull!! I just made a cool doodle and saved it!! Yes the ipod has built in screen capture! Press hold sleep button and while holding press the home button and release both at same time and the screen should flash white for a second and the pic will be in photo app. Please test on home screen first so you don't accidentially exit out of the app and lose your drawing. Very usefull can use two finger touch to make things even better! I meant that you can already use two finger touch and it is sweeeet!! It just sounded different. Is a must have free app!! One of the best I've ever had!

Awwwww yeahhhhh!
This is by far the beat writing app on the store. I have tried 9 other apps but none can come close to this. It may seem like a simple doodle pad, but the point us what you can do with this. For example, look at the galleries and say this isn't better than some monochrome sketchpad. Bottom line get this amazing FREE app.

Great potential, lacking a couple important features
It's nice to be able to try this before buying the full version. I use Colors on my DS. The tilt opacity is surprisingly effective. However I miss the ability to make a brush that has tilt control for opacity and thickness currently it only affects one or the other. For me that's a major feature it lacks. So I'll stick with the DS until that changes. Also it be great to be able to import photos from the camera roll. Colors is a great on the DS and it's a great addition to the app store.
