Description

Combat Clock is a 12-hour analog clock (sweeping second hand) that is a contemporary replica of a 1941 Mark 1 Navy Deck clock. Location data is leveraged to display current GPS coordinates, heading and compass bearing that indicates the direction the top of the device (portrait mode) is pointing to (12 is North, 6 South, 3 East and 9 is West). The application is active only when it is in the foreground. No location or personal data is saved or sent from the device. There are no in-application advertisements, or purchases.

Adventurewriter,
The best vintage military clock app out there
Bar none, this is the best military clock app out there. All of the miliary clocks by this developer are… However, there are two things i wish.. while you can turn off location features (The digital location/gps feature) it still leaves the bright numbers on the clock which are extremely distracting and take away from the vintage beauty of the clock. Secondly. I am begging.. on my hands and knees.. that the developer make an app for the 1942 black dial Hamilton GCT (the military pocket watch used by bomber crews and others during wwii… again.. please leave off the digital location features). There was an app which had done this one in the past (way back when iphones first came out). But nobody has done it since. And it is the most sought out pocket watch/clock out there). It’s the only one that people actually mention wishing there was an app for. Thanks. Love the app. Please keep updating and making it available for future iphone/ipad applications.
