Conquer The Tower -Takeover It Hack 2.0 + Redeem Codes

First time I’ve written a review for a game. I paid $3 for this and I’ve seen a lot of people saying you hit a second pay wall and you can’t leverage the boosts from the ads.

It is true that you can’t leverage the boost from the ads once you pay for ad removal. However, the game is still playable, just really hard. I’m currently at around level 150 without paying anything other than the original ad removal (no packs, etc)

Some levels did take me like an hour or more and relied on RNG for optimum original opponent play, but it’s a great game and is not pay to win, contrary to some of the reviews here.

The game is super simple and one dimensional. Outproduce them and you win. Get outproduced and you lose. Literally every level is whether or not you're quick enough to seize a logistical advantage and then wait out the game taking however long it takes for you to whittle down their numbers. Boring.

Worse than that, however, is the way the game handles contested towers. If control a tower ping pongs back and forth, it doesn't remember which tower you're attacking when you lose control of that tower, which means you need to manually redraw the attack vector for every tower to take over. However, the computer doesn't have to. It can redraw their attack instantly the very moment it changes over to their control. So if it's a special tower (defense or attack), you will lose every single contest unless your numbers are overwhelming. Nice game design.

Did these devs even test their game or did they just mash out another vehicle to make money on microtransactions?

So honestly I love the game, hours of mind occupation trying to beat levels and figuring out strategies. New update made things a little awkward though. Of you are going to let me upgrade my towers then they should be of a higher level than my opponents. However my upgrades seem to transfer to them which seems to make upgrading rather useless. The best option for you coins is still the in game boosts.

Yes there are some levels that you have to use power ups because the way they place the towers. I haven’t spent any money but I’ve needed powers ups on maybe 10 levels. I’m on level 238 and the past 20 or so levels are way to easy I feel like they repeat levels or something. It’s weird the levels don’t just keep getting harder. It’s like you reach a level where you are at a stand still all your towers are maxed and all of their towers are maxed nobody can win. So you have to use power ups in order to win. Then the next 10-20 levels are pretty easy. Until you reach another level where you are at a stand still. I haven’t played a level that I couldn’t beat yet getting kinda boring.

It was fun for a bit but more adds, useless hero with pointless boost and unbalance game did for me. You will reach level where you will have no other choice than burning tone of those boost (which need to be boosted to have any sort of effect) taking all the fun away. The balance of the game is somehow gone you alternate between ridiculously simple level and literally impossible one at some point.

Also I mentioned adds the fact that added ads when you want to restart a level is some lame every time you want to try another strategy you will have to seat through the stupid video.

I agree with the other reviews here. I contacted the developer letting them know that there are levels that can’t be passed without ads (or pay, which should both provide the developer some kickback), and then constantly says “no ad ready“ and it stays that way permanently. The game is useless after 60 to 90 levels depending on how many of the freebie powerups you use earlier. Huge surprise, Never heard back from the developer even when providing my email. They are only here for the quick “no ads“ purchases even though we still DO watch ads to get the power ups. SCAM

Game WAS simple fun and worth paying for no ads until recent update. I was on level 1400 before update. I could beat most levels without using powerups, but now I sometimes need to use several powerups to beat a level. I paid for no ads but pop ups appear. It takes a long time to earn enough coins to buy stuff unless you opt to watch the ads. The game design was simplistic but now looks cluttered and the added extra “helper” people are worthless. I no longer recommend the game.

I would love to enjoy this game. I really like the gameplay, but you spend more time watching ads than getting to play the game. You play a game, you watch an ad. You want to get more gold from your win, watch an ad. You want to use a power up, watch an ad. Oh and in the middle of play, it will load small banner ads at the bottom of the screen. Those will cause a delay on your game or an outright crash back to the Home Screen. It is just too buggy and too ad heavy to enjoy.

It’s an overall good game, even though it’s the same concept as Ants vs. Bees. But after like level 150 or something, I can tell that at each level, your first trial will very likely fail because the opponents will send more troops. After you watch the ads and restart, the opponents are for sure lazier. Clever way to get more money, but is making it very annoying. Trust me, I tried enough times with the same strategy. I am at level 230.

I’ve gotten to lvl 100 on this game and here’s what I can say. First off it’s basically impossible to play the game for long periods of time unless your internet is off or you pay 3 dollars for no ads.
Second, most of the level are horribly imbalanced and require either power ups or multiple resets in order to beat the level, especially later on. Third, this game was definitely review bombed by the company so that they don’t get taken off the App Store.
