Description

An easy-to-use app to track and record COVID-19 symptoms.

There is no fee to use this app.

In this time of crisis, every resident of the world is anxious about getting COVID-19, and views every sneeze, every cough, and fever as a sign that they may have COVID-19. Governments of every country are concerned about the spread of COVID-19, and are in search of solutions to help their citizens, and understand and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Are you anxious about COVID-19?
Are you having fever, cough, or other symptoms?
Have you been tested for COVID-19?
Have you had contact with someone with COVID-19?
Does a family member or friend have COVID-19?
Do you want to contribute towards COVID research?

In an attempt to solve these issues, we have built this COVID-19 symptoms tracker. Here are the key things you can do with this app:

- Track key COVID symptoms
- See history of your symptoms
- Help alleviate anxiety
- Help scientists and researchers to track, study, and model prevalence of COVID-19 in our communities
- Share a report of your symptoms with your doctor
- Maintain a record of your COVID-19 test results

We have a well-researched list of COVID-19 related symptoms which can be tracked.

Please note this app does not provide medical advice. If you have severe symptoms, please call 911, call your doctor, or go to the hospital emergency room.

This app is currently not advised for use by people who are hospitalized with severe symptoms.

Data Security:

Your personally identifiable information, such as email ids and phone numbers will not be shared with anyone. We do not track your location, and do not collect or store any location data, except for a country and postal code that you can optionally enter. Your Donated Data will be made available to researchers.

We may use aggregated, Donated Data to create heat maps showing prevalence of symptoms in the community, in order to help the public and policy makers better understand the spread of COVID-19.

For questions and support, please contact [email protected]

You can also share this COVID symptoms tracker app with your friends and family to help them track their symptoms, contribute to COVID research and join our fight against COVID-19.

Let's all unite and help each other out to fight this pandemic.

Fluttershied,
Easy to use, but needs improvement
Overall, I was glad to find a free app to help track symptoms. I appreciate how easy the app is to use, but it’s minimalistic style needs some improvement. When I enter values for gender and smoker, they do not get saved. I’ve entered many times and continue to be asked to “enter value”. Also, oxymeter reading doesn’t always save on the first try. Suggestions: Checkboxes for runny nose, nausea, dizziness and brain fog should be added to symptoms. Even an ability to add any unusual symptoms would be helpful. Instead of LOSS of smell and taste, how about CHANGES to smell and taste, with an optional description box to write in? In my case, I didn’t lose taste, but developed a metallic taste. There is not an “Other” option on the past health conditions page for people who have chronic illnesses not listed with a text box to enter that illness.
E.Ace,
User friendly
Very easy to use and simple interface. Please add symptoms or more options to expand on the current list because I am experiencing some that are not included. Ex: tightness in chest without shortness of breath (I feel like I have to cough but can’t/don’t), “phantom smells” (I smell a chemical scent like a cleaner through nose but I can still smell and taste food, specify concentration of body aches (ie in shoulders or back or legs etc...), and chills without fever. Intermittent insomnia also. I’m sure there’s more if you poll. But nice job overall. I hope it’s helpful for research.
veronstein,
One more request
I'm happy with the app, but would like to ask you to always put a category "other"
Where one can freely add symptoms if they are any different than what you determine or expect. This illness is still not well known and produces weird stuff. For example: I have had Covid and I am a first responder. I have post-symptoms that I would like to keep track of. Some of that isn't exactly described by you. Such as not even sure how to describe, maybe restlessness syndrome? I go to sleep and can't because I have this irritation in my muscles that I have to keep flexing them. Or moving my legs. Maddening. For hours. It is Covid related aftermath. Never had it before. It's not among your symptoms. You could have after Covid symptoms as long term damage, some choices AND "other"
Thank you.

Suggestion
I have a suggestion- can you add a place to enter the actual value for daily temperatures. This way it will show up on the report that is generated daily. I’m in the film industry and we require a daily taking of temperatures of everyone working on location. Your app is the closest that matches our needs.

Realized after tracking for days that it’s useless
I wanted to track my Covid symptoms for obvious reasons. I was a little dismayed to see that common symptoms such as congestion are not an option to track-but the real kicker came in on day 5 when I tried to look at the report again (which doesn’t open in the app-I thought maybe it just needed time to gather data at first). I opened it in acrobat only to get a message that the file is corrupted.
So I’ve tracked my symptoms (at least the ones I could) for the past 5 days and don’t have anything to show for it. What a waste of time.
pudua,
Excellent!!
Such a great app that allows me to seamlessly keep track of my health. Very fitting for these times and a must have for everyone. Not only helps me for my own tracking purposes, but also helps doctors and leaders and companies across the nation and world wide who can now better evaluate public health status by having a larger set of data to analyze. Love it.
UVSeattleGradStudent,
Great and unique app
I use this app to log my symptoms regularly! It's very easy to use and I get to see my past symptoms easily. When social distancing I sometimes have to go out to get groceries or takeout, I come close to contact with other people. Monitoring my symptoms with this app helps me stay informed about my health and safety.
Gmletempt,
Limited choices
I personally think this app is a wonderful and simple way to collect data. The one issue I have is you cannot go back to add symptoms (1 or 2day). It’s also limited as far as prior health conditions. There should be an “other” or “neuro” choice. I have neurological disorder and have already had covid before. I current have long term covid symptoms due to already having both conditions on my background now.

Summary of History Availability
It would be nice if we were able to access a summary of our data so we could use it to track and share our lingering issues with our medical team.
Gadget Guru5,
Great experience, Simple and easy to use
Excellent app that allows me to keep a diary of my symptoms, and refer to them later. Works flawlessly with a very simple and easy to use interface.

The new feature of seeing a medical report is phenomenal.
