ksarp_,
One of the best games on Apple Arcade
I do in fact feel like this is one of the best additions to Apple Arcade. There is sort of an open world element and quite a funny story to follow along. I do however feel like it’s hard sometimes to track exactly what I need to do for a mission because my tasks are always hidden within the dialogue. For example if a character said “ build me 10 floors” and I happened not to read what the character said it wouldn’t be highlighted or tracked instead I would have to read the dialogue all over again which is actually pretty annoying. I also would warn others it’s a bit of a grindy game but very much enjoyable in the end.

But pls pls pls do something about maybe highlighting exactly what I need to do in a mission
Skittill,
Best Mobile Game Ever
I enjoyed this game so much. As an RPGer, I really enjoyed the RPG elements and the story. Having three separate biomes kept the gameplay interesting and fresh. I had a great time designing and redesigning my homestead with my pets and my potted plants and furdle field. I really felt like I could customize my game experience MY WAY, even with the weapons and armor. The juice machine was a great addition once unlocked! I have very few complaints, but what review would be complete without them right? •I wish you could look at an actual inventory to see how many of a certain thing you have. • I wish the game gave you a choice with the epic weapons (such as Megagong) to choose the weapon type. • I wish you could “track” quests, and that there was a tiny bit more direction for what to do in them sometimes. • I felt like the weapon/damage progression was too slow in comparison to the enemies you fight. • This one is petty but OMG FLUX MOVES SO FRIGGIN SLOW. Even with move speed buffs. • When it gets “dark” it’s DARK. Like even with phone brightness all the way up. Overall the game still gets a solid 5 stars from me. I just beat the game and I’ve already got all pets maxed, and all the crafting recipes unlocked. I’m pretty done unless new content comes out; I may try hardcore.
DayNad9,
Amazing Game
Update 2: The syncing issues seem to be gone, so I’ve given this game a well deserved five stars! Usually I get bored with a game after a few weeks, but this game has kept me hooked. I intend to play until there’s nothing left to do. I hope the team has plans to add more quests!

Update: I have to lower this to one star because hours of play was just lost due to improper cloud syncing between devices. This needs to be fixed.

I love this game — it has become my new playing obsession. The open world, the main and side quests, the crafting system, the humor — it’s wonderful. However, I would give it five stars except the game sometimes does not sync to the cloud properly, which is a problem since I play this both on my iPhone and iPad Pro. Sometimes I am asked to resolve the conflict, but other times it simply loses progress. It happens enough times that it has become frustrating. I’ve learned to manually sync to the cloud at the end of each playing session, and I check always synced saves before starting a new session. Despite all that, I still sometimes lose a sync and lose progress.
OneHitCombos,
A Golden Opportunity
Crashlands+ is a golden opportunity for players who have not yet played this gem. It’s here in all it’s glory. My only complaint has not changed since it’s original release. The controls and how there isn’t any available floating joystick for those who don’t want to use a controller. Having to tap the screen and accurately move in and out from enemy attacks can be disheartening when your finger is constantly in the way. It disengages you from the game and you’ll constantly die when you have 3-4 fingers eating up your screen during fights. Also the skill icons can’t be adjusted. The only offering is left right or center and they’re all bad and only require even more of yourself on the screen.
ryzxin,
Great game
I played this game back when it first came out. I think it’s best to play this game with a mouse or controller, because the touch controls get in the way. It’s a pretty fun game, but I never finished it; felt a bit too grindy. It’s got great humor. But, It’ll have you going out fighting enemies and looking for resources, and once you find the resources, you’ll make some new gear and tools. Then you use the new gear to fight new enemies, and use the tools to get new resources, and use those resources to make new and stronger gear and tools. Then you use the new gear gear and tools to fight more enemies, and collect more resources. Then you use the resources to create new and stronger gear and tools. Anyways that’s pretty much the cycle in this game.
FloidTouch,
Save files deleted
I played for roughly six hours if I had to guess; which I do have to guess because suddenly my save files no longer exist. This is especially odd because there's a two factor save system involving cloud and local saves... the whole shebang. Yet when I booted up just now it's as if I'd never played this game in my life.

This game is weirdly grindy for a single player game so the thought of starting over is too daunting to be a real option. It was alright before the memory wipe, nothing great, but an okay time-killer. Kind of just an endless series of teching up to be able to beat the next hardest enemy around and so on but it had a certain charm and the combat was also weirdly challenging for the laidback attitude of the game.

Anyway, 3 or 4 stars before the save glitch, barely 2 now that I realize how unwilling I am to start over.
littlebigcope,
A Blast! Just a few fixes.
Crashlands has been a blast. Love the combination of exploration, crafting and adventure/quests. As a more casual gamer it hits all the right spots.

A few fixes or things to adjust that might help improve the experience. One, add support for the backbone controller! Got one for Christmas and it turned my phone into the gaming platform I’d always wanted. Second, when trying to take down walls, floors, items etc. the game makes it overly complicated. It took me forever to figure it out. Seems like it should just be a button option when you’re crafting.
Nychrone,
Fantastic game, I found a bug
The exploration is fun, the crafting doesn’t take forever and there’s something about it being out so early that I have to find answers myself that’s SUPER rewarding! It feels like an old school quest where you have to read and consider what you read rather than everything being spoon fed to let you plow through the game. Solid game, possibly my favorite released this year!

Suggestions:

Allow remapping controller inputs. “X” to close or back out of menus is a bit odd for a western audience that was taught it confirms a selection.
Move the navigation arrow to a fixed position over the characters head, give it a color other than white, attach a numerical visual to denote distance from current position to marker.
BUG:

Letter input with a PS4 controller doesn’t work. The only way to make a selection is to press “X”, which in this game closes stuff, thus it selects one character and closes the input operation.
yourdaddy!!!!,
Best game on Apple Arcade
There is so much story and dialogue and the story is funny the weapons are cool and there is so much stuff to do I have even thought of buying this game on my ps4 just so I could play with my friends online I give it 5 stars It’s an amazing game and I have over 24 hours of playing the game and I’m still have so much more to uncover, if you love games where you can battle and free roam this Is the game for you plus there are so many types of enemies hope y’all enjoy the game as much as I do
coqsandwitch,
Sadge
Was so hype for this when i first started playing, but as you progress you realize that the seemingly small flaws in combat in the beginning turn into glaring issues later on. Every boss enemy will one shot you unless you over level your armor, the hit boxes are scuffed leaving you dead from an obvious miss far too often, and being forced to use melee only for a while forces you to play hit and run while you pray rng kicks in and you get a stray weapon effect to shorten the fights. Not to mention the countless times where i’ll be soloing a boss and enemies from 100 feet away somehow agro on me. This game has a lot of potential, but in the end falls short due to some damning mechanics.
