This app deserves a Nobel Peace prize!!!
This app is awesome and perfect for my needs. As a senior software engineer I have to proof of concept a lot of ideas and then explain to other engineers and teams how to use or implement the concepts. I am constantly reworded with dead silence when I ask if there are any questions (we all know there are, but no one ever wants to ask them lol). I now play this app and just stare back at the audience for a few beats 😜
My only request is an Apple Watch version so I can more easily trigger the chirps discreetly lol

As the title states, I rarely write reviews. This app is a must have for any iPhone user! Boring conference call? Crickets. Friends tell a HORRIBLE joke? Crickets. Girlfriend / Boyfriend making loose comebacks to your arguments? Crickets.

The app is certainly as plain-speaking as it is amusing to use. Everything functions as advertised, not that I’d imagine anyone else sought out something else when they downloaded this app. If you enjoy tormenting would-be comedians at improv nights in your local pub, look no further.

You've been there - a tense conference call that requires somebody, anybody to speak up and provide an explanation or a solution - and yet it is deathly quiet on the other end of the line. I retire soon from teaching high school math. When asking for ideas or insight on concepts the silence is deafening. Crickets fill the void and I am swept away to a cool summer night on my deck, with a beer in my hand. Then I snap back to reality.

Chirping good time
Some believe crickets bring good fortune. Some would get out of bed in the middle of a summers night to find and stop the chirping of a rouge cricket bent on keeping you awake. Personally I just like to cap a bad joke or occasionally confuse an office mate from outside of his cubicle. Or if you just love the sound of nature it is fun an effective app. Enjoy!
