Absolutely love this game
This game is outstanding! Love everything about it from the graphic to the storyline but most importantly the rewards is fair square that keep me interested in continue to explore and advance through the game. The energy rewards gives me fair amount of play time and if I decided to continue, I have no problem paying for extra energy (the specials are fairly priced) because I don’t feel rip off by asking me to pay very early on or don’t feel like I can advance even after paying, which a lot of other games do. Also LOVE the option of either playing hidden objects or match three. Not only both are my favorite type of games but also options to advance so players don’t feel stuck. Just too many great things about this game. Please keep up with this format and I am an absolute fan. Add more cities like Miami, Vegas, Chicago and I will play them all! Play this game and you will not be disappointed.

Too many Match 3 scenes
This looks and plays like Homicide Squad: New York Mysteries except there are mostly match 3 scenes. In HS, each location is a different hidden object scene but there is a choice of playing it in Match 3 mode whereas this game’s locations switch from match 3 to hidden object randomly. I’m hoping since this game is new the developers will give the option of match 3 or hidden object like the original because it’s too much Match 3 for me. The first couple scenes were all hidden object but now every single task has been Match 3 and opening new locations just opens more Match 3 rounds. I’ve been hoping for more games like HS because I LOVE that game and have spent years playing it but am out of new levels and only play events now but while this looks exactly the same, it’s going to need some tweaks for me to want to keep playing it. Obviously I’d like an option of playing hidden object instead of match 3 but I’d be open to playing more match 3 rounds IF there were easy ways to get power-ups instead of using gems. Also, since this game is SO similar to HS, I’d love to be able to link my games so I’m not starting completely from scratch but I understand that may not be possible. I think this has potential and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Great detective game + brain training too!
I didn’t think much of this game at first. Decided to give it a try because I love solving mysteries. To my surprise, it’s actually a really great game & really keeps me on my toes. Find it hard to put the game down sometimes because the cases & storyline are ongoing, lol! I don’t mind though, I just have to time myself, so my day doesn’t sneak away from me.
This is a great way to pass your down time & of course, this game is training your brain to think “outside the box” plus there’s some time-based object search & find mini-games with fun features such as double objects, scrambled letters, silhouettes, & more to keep it always interesting, as you find clues, interrogate suspects & witnesses. Definitely worth downloading this game!

This game was almost perfect before the ads started interrupting the game play every few plays of a scene. You already make us see a catalog of G5 games when app is first opened. The game graphics are phenomenal particularly the overhead shot of the cityscape map! The fact that the scene will change style after every successful attempt, makes this challenging to play. That along with the fact that objects will change looks and locations within the scene after each attempt is what makes this nearly a perfect game. BUT it’s not perfect for a variety of reasons. Other than using the money to unlock new scenes, It’s basically a worthless stat. I have nearly $200K that I wish I could use to buy different helps like flashlights, magnets or detectors. You could also use the money to buy gems. Another annoyance is the Match-3 aspect of the game isn’t necessary. If someone wanted to play a Match-3 game the could download one of the dozen or so games that G5 makes. Ditch the ads and the Match-3 and you would have a better rating.

Grabs my interest
I agree with a previous review I read that the storyline and graphics are excellent and I can really get into the game. I like having the game guide me with prompts so I don't have to struggle to figure out what to do or where to go next.
My difficulty is that I really don’t like timed games. If there was an option to play without time limits I’d be all over that!!! Give extra bonuses for those who enjoy the stress of timed play. I don’t want that stress. A game shouldn’t give me a headache.
I even bought some stuff to experience the game more fully (and support my fave G5 creators!) and I think I will have to keep this one on the backburner unless the time limits come off. I know time limits may be standard for these types of games but, hey guys, think out of the box. I love your games. Show some love back and make my day 💗💗💗😊😊😊

Very Addictive Game
This is one of my favorite top 3 games it is just amazing and the story lines are always fun as well I wish it had the same power ups that The Homicide Squad game has
( which is my #1 favorite game) In the Homicide Squad game it gives you the option to buy the double assemblers badge but in Crime Mysteries it doesn’t have that option….another badge option I hope to have in the future is the: free assembler for each assembler found that is such a big help also maybe make the option to buy double the diamonds available more often other than those suggestions the g5 games are just the best in my opinion I have been a member since 2019 and have a few accounts now because these games are so addicting !!!!!

I like this game but...
I still give it five stars. But why can’t game companies make games that have actual spoken words. The gameplay is excellent. The graphics are excellent. The storyline is excellent. But you have to read it all. And it has some comical conversation etc. and it would be wonderful to actually hear voices.
When I first started playing games years ago I thought in the year 2020 we would definitely be playing games that actually talk. I know there are games out there that do that but this is a great game. It could just be so much better with real conversation rather than reading every single thing. It’s not that I mind reading it just would add so much to the game. It would make it so lifelike.

Quite entertaining, but the music style should really be changing, depending on where the action is. For instance, instead of the canned elevator music everywhere, why not put some wonderful Armenian music in the restaurant.... Music sets the tone and supports the ambiance of a place.
The story line is kind-of cute, but sort-of sluggish in a way. too. Whoever chose the graphic style of each character is point on: they fit the story-line perfectly, and the fact that their facial expression slightly changes is a very interesting touch.
All in all, if you keep going beyond the first 45 minutes, the intrigues start developing in more depth , and become more interesting.
There are no ads, thank goodness, and yes, some in-app purchases, but very reasonably priced.

So much fun
Amazing game. I wasn’t sure how this would be but I am very happy that I started playing. The writing is pretty good, the characters are believable and attractive. The details and illustrations are gorgeous. I wish there was a little more variety in the type of challenges, but I can play this for hours and still have fun. Five stars all the way! You don’t even have to spend money to keep playing, but I do to support the developers. I absolutely love this game! Thank you so much for making this! Keep up the great work with fun murder mysteries like this, please!

I would rate 5 star but the game has been freezing up on me and then shutting down completely, however I can’t say for sure if it’s the game or my phone that is the actual issue. Also, I’m not sure I love the fact that you’re only offered the “match-3” option for certain scenes. I really like searching the scenes much better so I’d much rather have this as an option in all of the scenes!
Otherwise, the graphics are awesome as always, the content is great, the difficulty level is on par with the type of game this is, and the new scenes and cases are well thought out and executed!
Overall great new game from G5 and would definitely recommend to friends, especially all friends that enjoy seek and find type games!!
